Thrilled with my results! Holding steady at about 185lbs. I'm hoping to get the back lifted in the spring of 2015.
Never had any complications and I couldn't be happier with my flat tummy.

Forgot to mention in previous post that I had lipo on my waist and stayed in the hospital overnight. Dr took off 7.5 pounds. Crazy.

Hello! Congrats on your surgery! You look great! I had a question for you that has nothing to do with your surgery but when you said you started eating better. What changes did you make in your diet to lose so much weight? If you don't mind me asking...
Thanks. For me there were a couple of changes: portion control, started making most meals from scratch (very few pre-packaged foods and bring a salad to work everyday for lunch) if I snack it is usually fruit. Many of my meals are heavy on fresh fruit and vegetables. I'll pretty much allow myself to eat anything I want, but I'm just smarter about it. For example, if I'm going to eat ice cream I have one scoop instead of a whole pint. I had a really bad relationship with food for a very long time, but I feel like I turned a corner.

Congrats on a job well done with the weight loss! I know how hard it is to make a lifestyle change. You look really good for being so soon after surgery. I wish you all the best in your recovery, you deserve it!!

WOW that is so amazing!!! Now that is a weight loss!!!! That is so inspiring!!! I know for sure its possible & will definitely continue to worked even harder....CONGRAT's on your TT...you look great!!! I know it feels darn good.... So happy For YOU!!! :)

Hope you're doing well. I'm in a similar boat; was at 320, now down to 215. Was down to just under 200 but went up about 30lbs (stuff happened, food went with it) and now I'm stuck again getting it off. Gotta get my bum back in the gym. It seems that each time weight comes off in chunks of around 10lbs and then sits for a month or two with no movement. Gargh!!!

My highest weight was about 320. I lost 60 pounds...
My highest weight was about 320. I lost 60 pounds over 10 years ago and kept it off with exercise. A couple of years ago I started eating better and lost another 67. I was 193 on the day of my surgery.
I go to the gym 4-5 days during the week and I'm pretty active on the weekends.
There was no way additional weight loss was going to fix my stomach. I wear a size 14 pant. Before surgery My waist measured about 35", hips 40", and around my belly was about 44". My abdomen was very disproportionate to the rest of my body.
Had my consult in January and scheduled the surgery for April. I am 9 days post op today. I still have one drain in. Thus far, I'm very happy with my results and my decision to have the surgery.
This blog was a huge help in my preparations for surgery, so like many others I wanted to pay it forward.
