I totally agree with all the reviews. I just had my lipo done two months ago. The before and after pictures were amazing but that is NOT his work. The procedure was so painful and he somehow makes you feel like it is something that you are doing wrong. I was awake the entire time in excruciating pain. It's two months later and my tummy is hard and I still have several seromas. He even advises me to drain myself at home by sticking needles in my tummy. To make it even worse, he makes you sign a consent form to NEVER be able to sue him no matter WHAT the results are. I just went to get a second opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon and he confirmed what all of your stories have said, my results are NOT normal. Now, I have to continue to pay for disfigurement and he is getting off Scott free!!! PLEASE BE WARNED..... DO NOT GET LIPO FROM VITA SURGICAL GROUP!!!!

I had my procedure done in June and believe to have the same issue. Only thing is when I went to be drained, nothing came out. I was told the hardness was “retraction”.

Your not going to drain because it’s not regular lipo but more like smart lipo so the first 2-3 is all the draining I had another doctor tell me to ice the area because it was swelling not fluid

I went to Dr. Araya for liposuction surgery of the abdomen, flanks and back area. The day of my appointment my BP was high I was given water and asked to stay calm after the initial BP reading this was prior to the surgery. I was asked to sit in the waiting area for 10 minutes where myself and my mom sat. After 10 mins I still felt some hypertension where I was given a pill to help bring down my BP. Moving forward the procedure began and I was awake through local sedation. As he began to proceed with the procedure I remember him inflating my stomach and began to liposuction my stomach area with a cold long probe. After about 10 mins.into the procedure I told him that I can feel everything he was doing it felt like small strands of my internal flesh was being pulled in strings. As I began to cry he tried to talk me through it and stated "if you want I can send you home and you can come back tomorrow. As I looked at my inflated stomach I knew I couldn't go home with no care in that state as my stomach was severely expanded. I asked him to provide me with more sedation because I'm feeling the whole process he then declined. After surgery I noticed my sides of my stomach was burning and very hot this was the same heat I felt while he was doing the surgery. I went home to change my bandages only to find 2 large hols on my body where skin was melting away and you can see inside my flesh. I immediately called him for a emergency followup where I came in and he packed my sores. This was the worse pain and feeling ever. As the wombs began to heal after 4 months I continued to follow up with him. I remember being left in the exam room on multiple days where I was suppose to get lymphatic trainings where he hooke me up to the drain and left me in the room standing while draining. I began to get light headed and passed out where he brought me water and told me to stay up and hold my head back while draining. Meanwhile as time progresses and working though my healing process the holes closed up but left me disfigured with percent marks on my body. I reported him and we'll that's another story but only to find out he was unlicensed at the time of my surgery and he was a optomologist. It is now 2024 and I struggle with my appearance and mental health. He refused to correct the surgery now I am permenatly disfigured for the rest of my life. I have posted and shared my full story including photos and videos where it details my beginning to end experience. Henok Araya if your reading this you know exactly who I am. DONT GO TO HIM I regret that decision.
