I consulted with several plastic surgeons before deciding to go with Dr Davison. It was an easy decision for me. He is a very bright and talented surgeon and his work is absolutely beautiful! He is a perfectionist and a true artist! He is also a very warm, kind and supportive doctor and was never at all judgmental about all of the weight I gained before meeting him and the mess it made of my body. In fact, he did nothing but praise me for my hard work and dedication to losing the weight. Dr. Davison gave me the confidence to go through with these procedures and I am so glad that I did! I am absolutely thrilled with the results and they are far better than I ever could've imagined! His work is impeccable and very much individualized and beautifully tailored to your specific needs and circumstances. He was very generous with his time, met with me several times before I contracted to do the procedures and did several follow-up visits, all as part of his one-time fee. We did all of the surgeries at his in-office surgical center, which I really like because of the much lower risk of infection than a hospital setting. But he does also perform surgery at a local hospital if you prefer that approach. His staff is top-notch and makes you feel very comfortable and safe. I think the world of Dr. Davison and his practice and I would recommend him and them to anyone! You cannot do better! Dr. Davison is a full professor of both plastic surgery and otolaryngology at Georgetown University. Special note to Massive Weight Loss Patients: Dr. Davison is an EXPERT in these cases. It is extremely important that you work with a doctor that has A LOT of experience with massive weight loss plastic surgery procedures. They are far more complicated than a standard body part lift and typically involve all-over body contouring, familiarity with skin laxity special issues and experience in staging multiple procedures for optimal results. There are even additional health considerations for massive weight loss patients, like an increased risk of deep vein thrombosis due to longer surgery times, etc. Please be sure you work with someone like Dr. Davison that has the experience needed to do these procedures correctly and safely. And if you are not a massive weight loss patient, then rest-assured that you have an exceedingly qualified doctor in Dr. Davison and he will do an amazing job for you too! If you choose your doctor wisely, you will love your results!

Your arms look amazing ... Mine are bearly getting painfull though ... Did u have alot of swelling too?
Hi Jenny! Thank you! Dr Davison did a wonderful job! My arms did not swell like my legs did. But they were very tight and sore. My left worse than my right because my left arm was a good bit bigger than my right. Dr. D had to take more off my left arm to even things out. Good luck with everything!
Thanks ... I really need to vent about my situation ...i have a small bump or lump on my left arm but i just dont know when ill be back to doing my normal routine like driving etc ....how long was ur recovery? And what procedures did u have first 2nd and last
Hi Jenny! Sorry! I missed the notification about this question. Just happened up on it! I did breasts and tummy tuck in the first procedure and arms and legs in the second procedure. It has been awhile for both so it is hard for me to remember specifically about recovery times. I can say that the limbs swell a lot. And lumps and bumps can take weeks and weeks to finally go down. For both procedures, I was back to driving a week afterwards. But that doesn't mean I was fully recovered in any way....just well enough to drive small distances. I would say that it took at least a month for the major bumps and swelling to go down. You should show the bump to my surgeon. I had a quarter sized lump in my leg and it was a fluid sac near the incision that he drained in 2 seconds in his office with a needle. If you are uncomfortable or unsure, go see your doctor please. And keep us posted!
I meant show your surgeon! LOL!

A few other things!

Hi! Thank you for reading my review! Please look through my pictures for more details on my procedures. I also want to thank this community for its generosity in sharing information, advice and pictures. When considering drastic body makeovers, this type of support is so helpful and important!! I want to share a few things that I learned here that helped me so much in mr recovery. I used these pillow wedges from Intevision bought from amazon after both surgeries and loved them! gp/product/B009HHLBKK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A30HCXNHG4VV1T http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GQ04S8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A30HCXNHG4VV1T I also used a Freshette feminine urinary director after surgery #2 to pee while standing to keep my thigh lift incision clean and not put too much strain on my incisions by sitting.
