I am 51, now 9-1/2 months out from my facelift revision (original was good just more conservative than it could have been). Looking so young I decided to stop coloring my hair! Thanks again to Dr. Rad.

Looking good! Did he do the original one?

Yes. I told him I didn't want to look "Hollywood" so he was conservative at first.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Rad last year when he performed a lower face/necklift, chin implant, lower blepharoplasty and fat transfer. At the one year mark, my face looked beautiful but I wanted a more comprehensive result. Dr. Rad planned to perform a full face and neck lift, and to take advantage of being in the OR I decided to add a tummy tuck and upper arm lipo. This time I was smart to stay in the hospital - 2 nights - after my experience with hard-to-control pain during the first 2 post-op days last year, when we did the procedure in an outpatient surgical center. Dr. Rad performed a full facelift to expand on the necklift, and he customized my surgery for a rapid recovery. My post-op appearance is so much better in terms of swelling and bruising: at post-op day 9, I can already see the results will be extraordinary. (Bodywork is still very swollen and bruised but looks good so far.) Pictures to follow once bruising and swelling are more resolved. This forum doesn’t give me the opportunity to give Dr. Rad adequate praise, but he is truly amazing.

You had a lower facelift a year ago and now have had a full facelift? I’m confused.

Yes, the full face lift just goes up a little higher to the cheeks, but does not involve a brow lift.

It occurs to me that the total cost I reported was high for just a lower face lift. The cost also included a chin implant, lower blepharoplasty, and fat transfer, as well as anesthesia and facility charges.

what kid of "lower" facelift? I think most facelifts address lower face and neck not upper face unless additional procedures are added,

So I don't have a good answer other than that is what my surgeon called it. I did not have a brow lift.
