I had always been displeased with my nose...

I had always been displeased with my nose cosmetically; functionally, it was difficult to breathe (felt like breathing through two tiny cocktail straws). I had also considered a chin implant for some time. I'm so glad I did this; my results are wonderful and Dr. Chaboki is great! I didn't include the cost of fixing the deviated septum, nasal valves, or turbinates because those were covered by insurance and I don't remember how much that medical portion would have cost (I think around $6k). Now two weeks into recovery, my profile looks amazing even with the swelling, and I can breathe a million times better (the surgery was worth it for that alone!). I'm so glad I chose Dr. Chaboki; I have no regrets.

I had worried about changing my face and the potential impact, but Dr. Chaboki's approach made me feel at ease. I still look like myself, but better. My nose looks great; the hump was removed, the bridge slightly narrowed, and the tip slightly elevated. All done without external incisions! I have no scars, and my nose looks wonderful without having that fake 'clearly had work done' cookie cutter look. I credit this to Dr. Chaboki's wonderful advice and specific recommendations for me based on my concerns and my actual face (rather than generic approaches). For example, I had initially suggested refining my tip so it was less bulbous, but after a couple of discussions about the pros and cons, I agreed with Dr. Chaboki's approach in leaving the tip alone other than slightly elevating it so it was less droopy when I smiled. Seeing my results now, I'm glad I went that route. Doing anything more would have been overkill and would not have looked good on my face. It's hard to see that beforehand, when you've had these preconceived ideas in your head for years about what you think you want, but you have to trust that your doctor knows best, and Dr. Chaboki easily gave me that confidence to trust his recommendation.

My chin looks like a normal chin now, instead of a weak, recessed chin. I'm one of those people that even when I'm skinny, I have a neck lacking definition with a bit of a double chin. Now, my jaw line is very nicely defined after the liposuction and looks great with the chin.

My whole face looks much more proportional and balanced; love it. The change is very subtle to my friends and family because they don't obsess over these things like we do to ourselves, but once they see the before and after pictures, they really can see the difference and think my face and profile look much better.

Can't wait to see the end results over the next year. I highly recommend Dr. Chaboki; his skill on the functional and cosmetic side is spot on. Thanks Dr. Chaboki for making this surgery experience as easy, calm, and painless as possible!

I initially found Dr. Chaboki when looking for ENTs in the DC area who also practice cosmetic surgery. Dr. Chaboki's name came up in Google searches, but most importantly, I found wonderful reviews for him on realself.com which made me confident in selecting him. Once I met him in-person, I knew my search was over, and he was the one. He did encourage me to seek a second opinion, but I was comfortable with my choice from the first meeting. Dr. Chaboki was phenomenal. He realistically managed my expectations, answered all of my questions, and has a very pleasant and approachable demeanor. Dr. Chaboki is clearly very skilled and has a fantastic eye for natural aesthetics. He's very accessible; he answered all my questions in office, via the patient portal, met with me several times before the procedure and explained everything very clearly, and checked in with me the evening after my surgery. He also provided his cell phone number in case I had any questions, and he was extremely responsive when I contacted him. His website also has extremely helpful pre- and post-op instructions for every procedure, and for the medicines. I followed those very carefully and didn't experience any problems during recovery. His office is very organized and clean, extremely prompt (I was even seen early when I arrived early), and is affiliated with George Washington University Hospital, where the procedure was done. His assistant Star is also wonderful and very knowledgeable about all things billing and insurance. The office also has a parking garage with direct access to the office; this was very helpful during that first day post-op and one-week post-op appointment. It's also less than a 10 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro (where the hospital is). Super convenient.
