Hi ladies! I have been on RealSelf since my daughter was born in December 2015. I was formally under Scarlettsmom15 but decided to create a new account and write a new review under Breast Augmentation. After having my daughter, the weight came off easily but my prebaby boobs never came back! I was left deflated and saggy at first... and as time passed, they just shrunk up even further where I can no longer fill out tank tops and bras anymore.

Lets start back in December 2015. My daughter was born and INSTANTLY, not joking, I was left with pancakes. They were saggy but flat. At this time, I was happy with my DD size but displeased with the ptosis that followed birth! I never even nursed either... never really got milk in... and was still left looking nasty!

About 6 months postpartum, I decided it was time after much research on this site to begin finding doctors in my area who would advise me as to what direction I needed to go in. All three were in agreeance that I needed at the very least a periareolear lift along with implants.

Although the scars were not my largest concern, I couldn't help but think that it was quite an extensive surgery to go thru at the age of 23 when I still have so much of my life and my body is going to continue to change over time.

Fast forward another year, I have stayed the same weight but have continued to shape and tone my muscles alot. With that being said, my once deflated saggy breasts are not much smaller and higher up, but lack the roundness and cleavage I'm looking for. At the gym or in a bathing suit, I am flat (I feel that way at least since I have always had boobs) and my ultimate goal is to just have better upper pole fullness again. My nipples have always been offcenter even prior to getting pregnant.

My BA is booked for this July 13th. I am anxiously awaiting this day and can't wait to feel complete once again. I am open to any recovery advice from moms of toddlers and just little things I may forget along the road. Also, if anyone ha had experience with pain pumps.... I'd like to hear your feedback!

Will update my reconsult more in detail below!

Awesome! Im so excited to see your results!

Not sure if you read my review's description but thats what i originally needed as well. I think between giving my body a longer recovery time after having my daughter and really dialing up weight lifting for the past year, my measurements all went up by a centimeter. Hoping everything will be resolved thru the augmentation and all will be well!

Hope you have a smooth recovery!

Reconsult yesterday with Dr Sigalove

My prayers to the boob gods were answered! Upon my revisit, the doc and nurse were pleasantly shocked to see the changes over the last year. At my 2016 visit, we discussed at a minimum being able to do a subfascial augmentation, a periareolear lift, or even a vertical lift. Submuscular augmentation was not even a possibility for me at this point, which I had expected.

Yesterday, when we remeasured my breast width, that went down a centimeter. My distance from shoulder to nipple went down a centimeter, and my distance from nipple to inframammary fold was 10.5&9 previously... now its 8cm on each side!

Dr. Sigalove is confident that I will have beautiful results with an augmentation alone at this point. Although my nipples are still not perfectly center, he said theres about a 75% chance that it will correct itself with the augmentation and he said if I was displeased with my nipples 6 months post op, we can do a small mastopexy in office under a local anesthetic. Honestly, after reviewing other ladies's before and afters and seeing the changes in my body, I dont think that I will really have an issue with my nipples. Mine have always been lower even pre prenancy and if you look at all my wish pics, it's just the roundness and cleavage I want. The nipples dont bother me. As long as I dont have that "double bubble" effect. Which he assured me that i wont!

I know I am in good hands with Dr. Sigalove because he is confident in his abilities to make me look good again and has my best interest at hand. He will have 4 implant sizes on hand in the OR and will place the one that best suits my body at that point. We are looking to do anywhere from 460 Natrelle SRF-560 SRF. I tried on the 533 sizer of Mod Plus in office yesterday and felt comfortable. I think that will be a happy medium for the cleavage and upper pole i'm looking for and not leave me with boob greed like others have! I am keeping my mind open to other options though! Size doesnt scare me because I have always had breasts. Just looking to be perky again and fill out a bikini top the way I used to!

Hey girl! Good luck with your surgery in July. I saw you commented on my profile and I've been meaning to get back to you. Only advice I could give beside listening to your surgeon is to help you heal and get back to everyday life quicker is take Arnica if your PS also says ok. Helped me a lot with swelling and bruising. You can order it from vitmedica or even amazon. And keep ice packs rotating for the first few days. They were my best friends and still are, have a little more swelling still but it's not painful. I'll be checking back in on you and if you have any questions let me know. Sorry it took my minute. Good luck!!! :-)

Hi there! Thanks for your support! It still feels surreal that ill have new boobies in a month but i cant wait to feel as good as you ladies all do!

I will check in with him about the arnica... i hung onto my jelly boob ice packs from when my daughter was born (knowing then that id need them for surgery down the road hehe!) so those will surely come in handy!

Keep us in the loop as you recover... your results look amazing so far and can only get better!

Thank you love. Having a PS you trust I believe also helps with the anxious moments you might feel. That's ow I felt my PS, he definitely helped a lot. And yes the Arnica and bromelain w/ quercetin. Or you could eat pineapple, bromelain is found in that. But some people don't like it. And lol check back in on you during your progress. You won't regret it!!!! Sooo excited for you!!!

Two weeks out!

This time is flying by! We are only two weeks away from surgery time. As excited as I am, I also feel paranoid of telling people heaven forbid I have to push my surgery date or it gets cancelled, etc. But thats just because it almost seems too good to be true!

I had a pre op phone call this morning with a woman from the anesthesia dept of the hospital. Just breifly going over health hostory and preparing me for where I need to go morning of surgery. Next Monday the 3rd I will have another pre op consult at the hospital to go over all before and after care instructions and will meet with the surgeon one final time.

I have made arrangements for my daughter the weekend of surgery, as well as prepped most of my bras I will need afterwards. I just have to deep clean my house one last time before surgery and make sure I have all my necessities done before the big day. I know it will be here before you know it!

Any advice would be appreciated. I am hoping that these updates will someday help someone like the reviews have helped me. It's been such a wonderful tool since I began looking into surgery.

One last thing.... sizes! So originally, my BWD measured for me togo as large at 533CC SRF (high profile). The more I think it over, I am leaning toward the 460/490 range. My biggest fear is these implants being too heavy and weighing my skin down to where they appear saggy. And also not easily being able to find bras. Any opinions?? It's so hard to anticipate even after looking at millions of photos and trying the sizers on!

Listen to your body and don't overdo it early on, i did and regret that. You'll be fine, first 3 to 5 days are the worst then it gets easier, I wish I'd known this beforehand to prepare, by day 3 I was jumping around feeling great and by day 7 I crashed. Definitely worth it though :) good luck and keep posting :)
