I absolutely hate my nose! It is too long, it hangs down and a little wide. I have been wanting to get it done my whole life! I finally have my surgery scheduled next week but so scared! I have all these fears like what if I dont like it, what if surgery goes wrong, what if a million other things. Hopefully all goes well and I love it.

Oh man I am freaking out. I keep thinking should I go through with??? Ahhh I wish I wasn't so nervous but all I can think about is what if I hate it afterwards, what if it doesn't look any different, what if I am in so much pain or something goes wrong! I pray to God everything goes well:{ I will keep updating my journey:) Wish me luck everyone

Day of treatment
2 hours post op surgery
i made it!!!! It wasn't half has bad as I thought and I can breath out of nose!!! I had a tiny bit of a sore throat when I first woke up but it's only been 2 & a half hours and I'm already home watching Netflix:) (Orange is the new black season 3) saved it just for this lol. My sore throat is gone, I had zero neausea and the pain is more like a pressure feeling:) the only thing I have cried about so far is someone threw my water out lol! I took 2 regular Otc Tylenol I can't take those heavy narcotics:((( anyways now I just hope it looks pretty??

Congratulations on getting it done!! I had mine on Friday and you definitely look in better shape than I did 2 hours post op and sound like you've had a more pleasant experience! Hope your recovery goes well (I am sure it will if you have OITNB to watch...I need to watch the new season too)!! My nose started bleeding and now I'm a mouth breather! It's the worst part of it all. Did this happen to you?

Yes don't panic! I was bleeding quite heavily for the first 24 hours, then slower but still bleeding for the following 24 hours (I wore the gauze under my nose this whole time and took it off in the morning of my 3rd day post op). Although I can take one or two breaths in and out my nose, I cannot breathe enough purely this way not to breathe through my mouth so I have been doing this all week and I know that is absolutely normal, few people will breathe through their nose properly that first week. My surgeon recommended though where you can to do it as it will help :)

How long are you post-op? I am 12 days and i have so much swelling between my eyes. Did you or do you have that? My tip looks good but my whole nose is thick all the way up.

I'm Day 8 post op and it's still swollen, between my eyes and bridge still quite wide! About to update my review with some photos so you can see for yourself shortly :)
