2 months post 4th surgery
It's been 2 months after the left breast was surgically dropped, 4 months after the right breast was surgically dropped and 14 months after stomach surgery. Finally feeling better. Breasts are not completely rounded or symmetrical, however they are a world of difference from where I began. I can finally do most ab exercises and comfortably plank for, well I'm still not up to full 60 seconds without a tiny break. I'm able to work out on a regular basis and look forward to toning up and hopefully running around in a bikini this summer! It seems like some people heal really quickly from stomach surgery, however I needed over a year so plan accordingly!
4th Surgery Scheduled
Well....my 4th, yes 4th surgery is scheduled for January 2019. I definitely thought after my 2nd surgery it would be over. But both breasts had capsulore contracture. Since we didn't know if it was necessary to correct the left breast during the 3rd surgery, I'm now faced with a 4th. Best case scenario, my right breast returns to a normal shape in a couple of months and after the capsulotomy, my left looks good. Here's hoping!!
Just a re-cap. Last January I had a Lolli pop breast lift with 365 silicone implants and a mini tummy tuck with muscle repair. At this point, just about a year later I am finally able to do planks and a decent amount of ab work. The muscle repair takes a LONG time to heal. Still doesn't feel completely normal to touch. In September I downsized to 240 silicone implants, with a tightening of the capsule, added galaflex to bring the breasts in and an added anchor scar to lift the breast as well as raise the right inframammary fold. After a 3rd surgery to correct the right breast, I am now preparing for my 4th. Whew! What a long journey!

3rd Surgery
So, I had my 3rd surgery in November. The Dr performed a capsulotomy on the right breast and did nothing to the left. I knew it was still high, but we both thought it might still drop since it had only been two months. During surgery he thought they looked even. He also did some lipo on the sides of the right breast. It has always been wider and during the very first surgery he removed some breast tissue. Everything he does causes additional swelling so it's always difficult to appreciate any progress initially. Here I feel the right breast appears pointy and the left is still too high. Sigh. This surgery had the easiest recovery and I was impatient for my husband to pick me up after anesthesia wore off quickly. I still had to heal and take it easy, but with my left arm availableI could reach for things easily without assistance.
