I have had abnormally disproportionally large...
WORTH IT$3,200
I have had abnormally disproportionally large cheeks my entire life. I am 35 years old finally out of a terrible marriage with a meth addict. I have never been happier with my overall appearance and confidence but my cheeks are something that I see every time I look in the mirror. I have been stick thin a few times, over the course if my life, I have narrow shoulders and a smaller build bit my face is heavy around my lower cheeks. I did a lot of research on this site that said doctors don't like doing this procedure because most people aren't candidates but I look like the before photo of the successful procedure photos I have seen. My sister and I are nearly identical. My sister had the procedure done and she looks great. I had an appointment this Friday and the doctor told me I was the 1 in 100 people who is actually a candidate. I can afford it and I am going for it!!

$500 Deposit Paid. May 22nd is the day.
I just paid the $500 deposit and 5/22 is the day. My sister, who also had the procedure is taking me. She said she still looks like her, just thinner. I'm 5'4" and weigh 147lb. A few pounds overweight, maybe. I have narrow shoulders so my cheeks look especially wide. My sister said it didn't take long to see the results. I'm only taking a Friday off work before a 3 day weekend. So 4 days total. The doctor stressed how minor the recovery is going to be.
I will definitely post the results. It really helped me to see what to look forward to.

One More Week
One week to go. I'm all paid up and I've already filled my scripts (Keflex and Tylenol #3).
I have been looking at more before and after photos and I definately have the fat in the right place. I do no beleuve that Dr. Mele would operate if I were not a candidate. I'm not looking for a drastic change. Just an improvement. At 35, my cheeks are already beginning to sag into jowels.
This site has been extremely helpful to me and I intend to share my results, in order to be helpful to others.

Are you sure you want to get buccal fat removal and not a lift?
To me from your photos it appears the reason why you have excess fat/tissue on your lower cheeks is because your face has lost a lot of elasticity, has become lax/sagged and has therefor "migrated" downwards.
In seems that's the issue rather them simply too much fat.
Some doctors seem to be opposed to doing lifts on young patients but the reality is some people in their 30's can have suffered severe sagging.
Do you have a photo you could post of your face prior to this happening?

Growing up, my nicknames were, cabbage patch kid, chipmunk, and my personal favorite Mrs. Potato Head. I was born this way. My mother, sister and gradmother were born this way. Prior to the beginning of my 30's, my cheeks were bigger everywhere. I have a problem with volume. I always have. If I don't address the volume now, I will look like my grandmother and mother. My sister is the same age I am and had the buccal fat removal and she looks great. I have the benefit of a living mirror, also known as my sister.
