Day 3 After Juvederm Voluma Injections-Getting Better & Better!!
Day 3-Morning
Overnight my swelling has continued to go down and my pain and stiffness is subsiding more and more as well. I’m almost able to smile again and the bruising and firmness are also better as well. As I’ve said, I swelled REALLY BAD on day 1 and was absolutely panicking because it was so painful and looked so frightful. I’m 3 days so much has changed. I am a firm believer in the power of positivity and meditating for healing so I have very much been doing that as well as well as some VERY LIGHT stroking of the skin in some areas of my face that eases the discomfort and helps me feel balanced. Stressing is not your friend, stay positive and think that everything will be okay.
Day 2 Post Juvederm Voluma Injections- Swelling is Subsiding
Day 2- Post Voluma Injections
Hi guys, I wanted to follow up like I said I would for anyone else out there that has had this done, and been on the receiving end of far more swelling than they anticipated. I one I personally was panicking and wasn’t able to find any stores of day 1 and follow up videos. I’m not shy or embarrassed and if this helps even one person relax a bit and worry less my job here is done!
Voluma Injections Journey-SIGNIFICANT Swelling

Hello All,
I was searching last night for anyone with a story similar to mine and didn’t see many. Of course I was in an bit of s panic and probably didn’t look too thoroughly. Immediately after I received my injections, my face looked great. After a few hours though, some VERY INTENSE swelling set it. I mean, it was so bad and so painful I thought I might have to go to the ER. I literally looked like the character from the “Saw” movie. I wish I had taken a photo but I didn’t. I took probably 4 Tylenol and had on ice pack (gently resting) on my face a good amount within those first 8 hours. I looked like I had been in a terrible accident which is odd to me because I get Juvederm Ultra XC often in my lips and the pain and swelling is minimal at best. I could barely sleep last night I was in so much pain and had to take 10mg. of Melatonin just to drift off. So if this has been your experience as well, you are not alone at all. Today, my swelling has gone down a good bit but still I look absolutely horrendous and couldn’t imagine having to leave the house like this. Does anyone actually look like themselves 24-48 hours later, this I would love to see. I will post pics to update on the swelling and overall look of it daily. Today is day 2, a little over 24 hours in.
