Staff has been warm and friendly. Dr Gregory Lynam was relaxed, confident and positive. I seemed to freeze up around them but the patient coordinator was awesome. She sealed the deal and answered hundreds of questions

What size are you wearing in the cosabella bra?
This is a Medium!!
I was always a 34b... I'm not ready to measure cup size yet but I'd guess I'm probably a c (wow that feels good to say!)
It's a fabulous looking bralette. I've been looking for a few more. The ones I have now come up sort of high so I'd like to find one I can wear with a V-neck shirt. I haven't gotten measured either. I've tried a couple of on-line bra fitting calculators but they seem to have a problem with my bandwidth. Oh well, a couple more weeks and I'll go to VS. You are looking AMAZING :)
I just read your story...congratulations and thank you for sharing! You look great! I am similar to you -5'2", 105lbs, 3 beautiful babies whom I bf. Was a 34b before kids, now a sad deflated 34a that I don't feel can fill out bras and clothes well at all. Have been wanting to do this since baby number two and I am booked for the end of this month. Eeek! Anyway, trying to decide size and incision site still. I really want to be natural and on the small side so thinking around 250 or less. The 250 sizer feels huge but I think it's because I am used to them being so small :( My ps recommended transaxillary incision initially. I am nervous about the scar being visible if healing does not go ideally for some reason. I may opt for inflammatory since it is hidden. I am having a hard time finding reviews and photos with this incision, especially after full healing. Sounds like you did your homework-how did you decide? Also, can you share how you do flour sizers? I haven't tried any and seems like it might be a good thing to do since I am feeling unsure about size. Thank you!!
Hi, I have a similar frame and pre-op size as you. I think I want somewhere between 250-300 cc saline implants, but I'm unsure about the projection. My PS recommends a moderate profile for a more natural look but I also had a consult with a different PS who thought that high profile looked more natural. What projection did you go with?
Good question. I thought about this for a while and decided that my surgeons recommendation of 250cc filled to 275cc, moderate plus was perfect with my bwd, 11.1...that's the important part. Find out what your base width is then look at the charts from mentor that offer sizes for your bwd I wanted a very natural look and the moderate plus is perfect. I'm LOVING them❤️
Thank you so much, I have pre-op on Friday so hopefully, I'll be able to try the different sizers on then.
How have you been? My February friends are on my mind :)
You look amazing! I'm five weeks out and only starting to see them dropping and looking a bit more natural.

Nearly 3 weeks post op

So my biggest points to express to all of the women here who are researching this procedure, is that it's crazy painful but WORTH IT! The recovery process was a lot more life altering than I expected, but could have been due to the incident with my dog dropping her heavy dog foot on my recovering left breast. I'm pretty sure that set me back about five days, at least. Here are the facts leading up to the fun part...right after surgery, your a drugged zombie with monster orbs embedded into your chest. Your body's like, huh? Your mind's like, [RS bleep] these are way bigger then I wanted! Best advice I can give is done spend too much time analyzing them post op. That's not what you're going to have. As my surgeon said, your muscles are angry and there's lots of healing internally going on. I've taken pics almost every morning right after the shower and it's awesome to see the change. Husband told me this morning that they're starting to look natural! And my friends can't tell a difference in my clothes (which is what I was going for)... Without clothes, dang! I feel like a woman! Bye bye "34A" push up bras! Here are some pics as of late. Also some from right after surgery.
Ladies don't be scared...it's good money to spend! If you've always wanted boobs and thought things would be better with them, you're right. Not to diminish any other important aspects of life, but this is a big deal to some of us!! Anyway... See pics :)

Thanks for sharing Sometimes I start to second guess if it will really be worth it. This was very helpful :)
It is. Not as bad as child birth (if you've experienced that) but ultimately you come away with a body you've never had before. It's really cool. :)
I totally agree with everything you said! I feel like I went through the same. Minus the dog part :P
So would you agree that it's worth it as well?
Totally! Even though I've been up and down with mine since I got them, overall, my experience has been a very positive one and I would do the procedure again in a heartbeat :)
Thanks so much for sharing your story. I guess everyone is different when it comes to post-op pain. I've heard woman say it's so painful and others say it's really not all that bad. For me, recovery has honestly not been too horrible. I thought it was going to be way worse. The pain has been tolerable, even on the first day. On the other hand, my friend had her BA over 3 months ago and I helped take care of her on the first day. She was sooo loopy and was crying in agony, yelling for more pain killers. She doesn't remember much of it though. I was the complete opposite. Only a bit loopy for the first couple hours and I remember everything after. I even had general anesthesia whereas my friend had twilight sedation. And like I said, my pain was minimal and I really think it had something to do with the numbing shots they injected my chest with (Exparel, I believe it's called). It lasts for 3 days. I would definitely recommend women to ask their doctors if that is an option.

Don't let your dog wake you up....

I was all kinds of excited to go see my daughter's dance performance early this morning, which would have been my first public outing since the BA. Unfortunately my 90 pound Lab decided to wake me up first at 6am. She jumped up on my side of the bed and dropped all of her dog weight onto my left breast with her huge dog foot... OUCH... I gasped so loudly that it woke my couch-sleeping husband in the other room. For a minute I couldn't breathe, then I was certain she broke my boob- I just waited for it to deflate- fortunately it didn't. I was so mad because I love this dog and also because I was just getting over the pain! That definitely set me back a few days and screwed up my morning plans. I took some Percs then had to get back in bed with an ice pack.. dang dog. The rest of the day was ok, but I wonder how pain-free I'd actually be?

my left breast is crazy sore today! underneath beside the fold feels like it could burst! also I know I can hear and feel a grinding squishy sound on my chest wall.... whats going on?!
I had weird sounds and sensations on my chest as well. Dr. said it was air pockets and that your body will naturally absorb it. Nothing to worry about!
Same thing here. I could hear little gurgly noises and felt weird squishiness too. It's gone away on its own. I hope you're feeling better and your dog is behaving!
Glad to hear yall are experiencing it too. My right side doesn't make any noise! Waiting for that too go away!
Hey franceslee...any updates? Are you still pleased with your results and size? I have my pre-op in a few days and I'd love to hear how you're doing now. Thanks for all the helpful info you've already provided!
Hey!! I just updated tonight. See for the latest. I'm super happy with the results. Go for it!
Did you let you ps know about your pooch incident? Ow!! So sorry! It sounds so painful.
Yes! Called the patient coord on Friday. They are thinking the event definitely set me back in terms of healing! She said they're "sisters" not "twins"... Now one will be healing faster than the other!
