Thought I'd toss in my two cents. Today is day 1. Had surg this morning at 10:30 and was home by 3:30. I'm mostly sore in my chest area,,crazy because I was prepared for the worst to be in my ab area. The ab area is surprisingly fine and there's no pain pump. I feel like I did about 500 stomach crunches. I'm not sure if the worst is yet to come or not. If not, I'm doing pretty damn good!! Walked around, ate dinner, cracked tons of jokes (at my expense, of course). Sort of being my normal self. My husband is being super duper. Best part of all is looking down and seeing that "the monster" is long gone. Gigantic, noticeable difference...:))

(2005 I decided on breasts implants and went from a droopy B to a lovely small D. They were gorgeous. Decided to start running again and these puppies were holding me back a bit,,needing 2 running bras at the same was getting old. Today they were removed and a lift was done,,,no more implants (.)(.)

Thanks you guys for your kind words :) Day 2 was rough. Getting in and out of bed was excruciating. But I was bound and determined to make myself walk even if it was just standing out of bed for a few minutes. This morning is day three and I got up this morning and with my walker I was able to give myself a sponge bath and wash my hair over our kitchen sink and let me tell you that made a world of difference. Last week at a secondhand store, I found a brand-new walker for $2.98 and let me tell you I highly suggest using one of these. I have three drain tubes and they are just about done draining. I'm improving so much faster than I thought I would. This morning I have my follow-up appointment with my PS,,,, Hopefully no more drain tubes :)

Had my first follow up appt this morning, 3 days since my surg. All drain tubes removed and I get to shower normally now!! Woo-hoo!! He said i can either wear the binder he gave me or I can just wear a Spanx. And as far as the breast lift,,i can wear a comfy sports bra. This hasn't been as bad as I had anticipated.

Wow!! Recovering faster than I ever expected...

Jennifer J
I am now 10 days post op and feeling wonderful. Off the pain killers as off yesterday. We actually went to a party:) I needed the walker for about 4 days, then just walked a tad bit slumped over,,,,real slow. I'm now walking completely straight up without any discomfort. The only prep I did before my TT was taking vitamin K and C and my multi vitamin. I read a lot of studies about vit K and C and it resulting in much faster recoveries. I believe it may have helped alot. The removal of the breast implants and the lift is such a non issue,,,no pain or discomfort whatsoever. When I sit for a long period of time then try to get up to walk, my tummy feels a bit tight but loosens up quickly. Now I'm just not sure when to start the silicone strips. The scar isn't completely hip to hip but pretty significant and super red and thick. Any advice???
