Some 8 week post op pictures and a picture of my questionable dog ear???

WORTH IT
I just wanted to show my progress and give an idea of the evening swelling I experience after working a full day.

Big difference, you look great! How's your tummy now, still swelling?
Thank you! I still swell but it is getting better each week. I do a lot of walking at work so I wear my workout ab band under my clothes to help minimize the swelling.
I see, seems like that's part of the recovery process for months @_@
Glad your well :)
Yes it is. I was told up to a year and a half or so but all in all I wouldn't change anything
That's a while for sure, I wouldn't change it either, it's totally worth it :)
And you're half way there ❤

I have been thinking about having a tummy tuck for...

I have been thinking about having a tummy tuck for years and when I decided I was done having babies I began my research. A few weeks after my 36th birthday I made my decision to have a tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks and abdominal muscle repair and I have had no regrets. It helped boost my self esteem and rejuvenate my spirit. Yes it was painful but tolerable and well worth it. I only required narcotics for the first 5 days then I only needed Tylenol. The first 2 days were the worst, I'll admit, but staying on top of the pain is key. I purchased several different compression garments before the surgery but wasn't instructed to put it on until my 4th day post op. Today I am exactly 2 months post op and I still have no regrets about my decision. I do swell and it can be a bit uncomfortable but I wear my workout band under my clothes and it helps keep me comfortable. I also wear it to sleep in on the days that I feel extra swollen. I have no pain and actually started a light ab workout today. I have a small area on my right side at the end of my scar that appears to be a small dog ear but it's not bad and I'll have that corrected soon. So far so good. I'll try to upload more pictures along my journey and to show how I look in the morning vs the evening after a long day at work.
