Wow, the transformation looks awesome! Such a difference. Super cute bra too!

You look great. Your progression & results are settling a lot of my worries. I have my pre-op appointment with Dr. Mancoll next week! In your first post you mentioned a custom compression garment. What garment did you have? Was this not the garment the dr provided?

I ended up hating the garment i originally bought. Maidenform from walmart turned out 100% better! It was more like spanx but still gave tons of support. It had shoulder support all the way to mid thigh. Dr only provides a binder. I was off all compression by 6 weeks

You look absolutely amazing. Can I ask... How much of this is the surgery versus weight you lost on your own?
July 1, 2017
Hey, thank you I have lost 18 pounds total since the surgery. Lost about 5 pounds after two weeks and then slowly more each week.

Wow, you look great! Scheduled my tt with dr. Mancoll for 9/1. Nervous & excited all at the same time. Any advice & recommendations on what I might need before surgery would b greatly welcomed & appreciated!

Thank you!! Definitely plan ahead for meals, who's caring for you etc. A shower chair was very helpful. A recliner that is easy in and out. I liked the maidenform garment from walmart (i know) much better than the expensive one from Nouvelle. It had straps and compression on thighs as well. Try not to google too much and remember that everyone recovers at different speeds. Eat healthy and limit your salt intake a few weeks before surgery and after. Ask a lot of questions about post-op at your pre-op appt because husbands aren't always good at taking notes when you're on meds and coming out of anesthesia. Follow the rules and do not try to do too much too fast. Good luck!!

Thanks! Well, you look fantastic & I hope my results are like yours! I won't have a recliner but I'm thinking about purchasing those orthopedic support pillow comfort systems that props you up in bed? Thanks for all the tips!

You can rent recliners that have remotes! I bought those pillows but its way too painful getting in and out of bed and for some reason its not enough support until like week 3. Doc is super concerned with any twisting so i would definitely try to arrange a recliner. You want to be as comfortable as possible

Oh. Ok. Do you mind me asking where you rented your recliner from?
