5 Month Update

Hello Ladies, and thank you!! I'm sorry its been awhile. I got so frustrated with my results that I didnt want to post cuz I didnt even want to look at myself. I was so upset for awhile. It took my incision FOREVER to close up. It didnt fully close till around month 4 along with my rear drain hole. OUCH! So the reason the healing took so long was a combo of factors. My hair line causing issues as it grew (eruptions) and the stitches desolving and coming to the surface (more eruptions). I am very happy to report its looking WAY better now. I rub it daily with lotion to help the hard stuff under the skin break down. I do that on all of my scars, really. At 6months I will post pics. Im going to probably get a touch up on my back ham hawks that never went away and a touch up on my belly button. The belly button doesnt look bad but it went WAY to deep and its hard to clean. I have to say, I am VERY afraid of a lipo touchup bc Im still feeling the effects of the original lipo procedure. So I may wait till a yr out for that. In the meantime, Im going to be starting back to the gym. I think Im gaining weight and I'm finally feeling mostly normal. Still some stinging in my back but I can feel it all now and tight abs but mostly normal with no open wounds anymore. At 49, its super easy to gain weight. You look at carbs or have a drink and boom!! U got extra weight. I'm eating good most of the time but thats not enough anymore now that my body is getting back to normal. So its time to start moving. Im going to ease my way back into the gym. Hopefully that helps. Hope all you Dolls are doing well!! Xoxo

Day 25 swelling pics

Hello Ladies this is a quick pic update on Day 25 after my shower. My tt incision appears to not be sealing shut. I had yuck on the inside of my cg. So I'm calling my nurse on monday to make sure its ok. My swelling is down a bit. So thats good that its headed in the right direction. :)

My back and my lumps

Here are some pics of how bad my swelling is. Turns out I should of had some foam on my back to help with the swelling from day 1. The lump at the center is one that we thought could be a small seroma but it wasnt. Not sure if you can see the front one in my last set of pics so I will take some updated pics today (Day 25). I have also included a pic of a good tool to help you reach above your head after surgery. Its actually called a reacher. I got it online at Health Products For You for cheap. Under $10 + shipping. So under $20 total. Happy Healing Ladies! TATA's for now.
