hello ladies. I'm 2 days post op, and this is exactly what I figured it would be. very sore but manageable. it is worst however then my c section recoveries. I did this 90% because I hated the excess skin on my stomach no matter how hard I worked out. I was always pretty busty and those weren't nearly as full and fun either (34 c or small D down to a flabby b) after nursing a total of 3 years. I chose 295 and 275 silicone unders just to replace my lost volume and not look much different in clothes (but banging to the hubs :)). I can't take any after pics now because I'm horribly hunched over but am liking how things look. I'll check in soon! and btw, Dr Mancoll is fantastic. He listened so well and I felt like I was in awesome hands even after lots of other consults.

Thank you for sharing! You look great! I’m about your height and weight with a lot of excess skin on my stomach as well. I really want a tummy tuck. My friends and family think it’s ridiculous because I’m not fat. It’s not about fat though it’s about tightening the skin. I’m a firm believer that life is short and if you have the power to change something that you aren’t happy with, you should! I’m glad that you are happy with your decision. I think I will be too! :)

I am so happy with the choice I made. I am still in the middle of healing but look down and am beginning to feel like "me" again. Not just what was left of me after having children...

BM anyone?

yogimommi
So it has been 3 days since I had a BM on wednesday.... and I'm concerned. I drank prune jui e the night before and have also kept up on my probiotics. Im horrified this is going to be like the first one after you have a child... aside from that im feeling ok. ill post a picture after i get a shower today. I've been too exhausted to worry about that yet. This surgery is no joke! but I know I will be so much happier in the end. btw I don't think I mentioned this but do yourself a favor and get protein shakes (withfiber) and good snack bars. I'm having to eat something w pain pills every 3 hours and that sure does, make it easier.

I heard this is common. I am still researching doctors for my tummy tuck but I al following girls that just went through it to pick up tips and tricks! I just wanted to say that even though the recovery is painful, I know you will have beautiful results! Rest as much as you can and post pictures soon!

Still no BM, but imbackibg off the Vallium and trying to rely more on Tylenol then oxy as the pain lessens. Just took my first shower and it was glorious. I ended up doing it on my hands and knees because my back is so sore. Tummy looks pretty good! not a lot of swelling or bruising, that's mainly just on the girls. I'm waahibh my garment now so hopefully when I put it on later I can get my mom to take a picture. (She would not approve of me documenting this, but I feel like you all helped me and I want to return the favor)
