3 weeks post

I'm so pleased with how things are progressing. I'm not 100% me yet, but getting closer (so long as it's nothing physically demanding). I can cook, clean and care for my family without help. I even went out for a brisk(ish) walk with my small dog today for 30 minutes. It felt amazing and didn't entirely exhaust me. I feel capable of being able to do most things REQUIRED of me, so long as I have a few hours to clean and grocery shop without worrying about a toddler. Body wise, insicion is completely closed at TT and areola. My Belly Button is crusty and scabbed over for the most part as well. Discomfort is not terrible (maybe a 2?) so long as we are not talking about the wierd hypersensitivity I have about 2 inches below and above my bra band. RIGHT where the garment hits, so I have to roll it down to make it bearable. Happy Healing everyone!

2 weeks

Feeling MUCH more like myself :) I got the OK to stand strait at 1 week so no more back pain. I've been staying busy with my kids (2,5) but no lifting or twisting. My Husband is out of town so my mom has been helping me with cleaning and grocery shopping (massive help). But I'm feeling better about being about to keep everybody alive and happy with those stressers out of mind. My TT seems to be healing well, it's completely closed along the scars, same thing for boobs. Those, however, are still super sore and the source of most of my discomfort. The scar lines still look a little ugly only because i have not picked off all the glue (i dont want to pull on anything not ready to be messed with) I'm only taking motrin now, but around the clock still. The bruising on had on my left breast was caused by a mild hematoma, and most likely why I've been SO sore. I thank God every day I didn't go bigger with my implants, they would be even worst!!! lol, no boon envy here. I'll post back in another week or so. Happy Healing Ladies!

1 week out!

I'm officially 1 week out, and it was a crappy week bit the biggest annoyance is finally gone. THE DRAIN! I could not seem to be able to do anything without making that medieval torture device hurt me. But now it's just a memory. Also got the OK (and encouragement) to stand up strait again. So my crotch and back are much happier, lol. I got to look at the actual incisions too, and I'm further so pleased with my choice in Dr. Mancoll. TT is strait and low and my nipples look great, even with the "purse string" lift that seems so problematic for many. I finally an experiencing what "swell hell" is because I was up so much of the day. I'll take it easier tomorrow, but DANG, it sure felt good to know I COULD be up that much
