I had lipo to my abs and flanks with fat transfer...

I had lipo to my abs and flanks with fat transfer to my hips and butt. No i didnt get a nicki minaj, but i have a better overal shape. The Procedure went great, I felt well informed of everything that was going to happen, the nurses and Dr. Hubbard were very thorough and polite. Weeks prior to surgery date, i was given a list of what i needs to be done the day before and the day of surgery. Once I arrived vitals were taken, Dr. Hubbard made markings where he would perform lipo and fat transfer, shortly after the nurse came in set up IV gave me meds. We soon after went into another room where the surgery would take place. They washed me with special soap that was FREEZING cold after that I was knocked out! lol I woke up in post op asking was it over. My husband was there to help, the nurses instructed him on how to care for me at home, they helped me into the car and i was off to my house to rest and take more meds. The first day was really painful. I took a lot of Codene and all I remember saying to my husband was "it hurts so bad, it hurts so bad" over and over again, and actually the meds made me itch all over. One of the possible side effects that I had the honor to have...yay me:-) The next day i was extremely sore, very swollen hard to walk and move around due to the pain. I wore a compression garment which i had to wear for 6weeks. I wasn't allowed to bathe the first 2 days post surgery. But due to the pain, i only bathed every other night, it hurt too much to get in and out of the garment and it was so tight i couldn't get into by myself I always needed help. As weeks went by swelling/pain reduced and i could begin to see results. For the first 6 weeks no exercising, I avoided my 3 yr old like the plague bc he always seemed to find a way to lean, lay, touch on me to put me in extreme pain. It hurt to pick him up bc he'd be resting on my sides or stomach.

I am almost 2 months post op and i see a tremendous difference. I can exercise, pick my baby up, wear fitted clothes again, however, i am still tender to touch but not nearly as bad...its tolerable. I do have a lot of lumpy hard knots all over. I noticed they seem to get worse if my water intake for the day is low. Helpful tip...drink lots of water!! I've also been putting raw shea butter on my stomach for scars and skin elasticity. It has helped a lot! Before my stomach looked really wrinkly, which was a concern of Dr. Hubbard since i'd had a child. He said typically performing lipo on a woman who has had a child can cause wrinkling or rippling of the skin but not always. So i decided to take my chances, I figured a little wrinkling is better than a lotta fat! But the shea butter has helped and the wrinkling is slowly subsiding. The scars are just little dots so they don't bother me at all, 6 dots to be exact and all are in places no one would ever see but my husband. 1 ea under my boobs, 1 ea under butt cheeks, and 1 on each hip.

Will post pics before, during, and after soon!!!
