Doctor Review

So I guess I left out the most important piece of my recent surgery--- the Surgeon!!

Dr. Hubbard and his staff were PHENOMENAL. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, I especially like his nurse Patrice.

At no point was I made to feel embarrassed or ashamed about my pre-op body or the countless questions that I had. They took their time and were very thorough and patient with me every step of the way. They gave me great advice and although it's only been five days since the surgery, I can tell he did an INCREDIBLE job.

I'm so happy with the results so far!! I would highly recommend anyone in the area considering plastic surgery to schedule a consultation with Dr. Hubbard and his delightful staff.

I've wanted Breast Augmentation since I was a teenager. Everyone I told laughed it off as something I'd grow out of. I also think they THOUGHT I would eventually grow breasts. They were wrong. For years I visited doctors getting consultations. The cost was too high and the doctors were very clear that at 5'4" and 150 llbs, my results would be better if I lost a few. I focused on weight loss, and while my weight did fluctuate, I never reached the happy point where I thought my results would be what I wanted. Finally, at 28 years old, I had saved enough to do lipo the areas that needed and get the breast augmentation that I've always wanted.

I do a lot of heavy lifting for work as I run an auto repair shop. I took off 10 days, hoping that it would be sufficient. I also altered the schedule on my return so that I would never be there alone like I usually am, just in case the need to lift something heavy arises.

I had the surgery on Monday morning, it is now Wednesday morning. Sitting stationary isn't so bad. Walking isn't so bad. It's sitting up or down and not using my arms that is AWFUL. I'm assuming it's because I had my abdomin lipo'd but it burns like fire everytime I try to sit up/down. Also my right upper breast burns/stabs sharply whenever I accidentally use that side of my body.

I have the absolute worst compression garment on. The one for my lower body isn't bad at all, but they gave me this ridiculous compression sleeve that straps over my chest and across my back. Im pretty sure its the wrong size and its almost impossible to adjust. It restricts my movement to T- rex arms, making simple things that I should be able to do like feed myself damn near impossible.

All that negativity aside, if this subsides enough for me to go to work when my allotted time off is up I will be perfectly content with the temporary suffering. What scares me is if my doctor and I underestimated my recovery time. I can't really afford to take more time off work.

I have ready very few cases similar to mine, most who have similarities have had children and are getting a tummy tuck. The tummy tuck is way more involved, of course, and women who have had children are said to have higher pain tolerances.

Please tell me about your experience particularly if you had the same or similar procedures recently!!

Thanks for reading,

Ashley
