I'm 5'3", 150lbs but look like 135 lbs. I carry all my weight in my mid section and inner thighs, so I can hide it well. I've been running 3 miles just about everyday for two weeks now and doing heavy weights about 3 days a week (35 lb dumbbells for flys, bench 100lbs, squat 110 lbs with bar, ect...)
I've decided to do coolsculpting to kick my ass in gear to get the extra 25-ish lbs off and to lessen the belly bulge and inner thigh chub rub.
Last Thursday I started with my muffin top. Medium applicator on each side (that's considered 2 treatments). The first 5-10 minutes is uncomfortable but bearable. Then the numbness sets in and it's cool sailing! I did end up with slight bruising that subsided within about 2-3 days. I'm still a little numb in that area.
Friday I did my upper abs using the large applicator. I could have used the medium, but the large sucks in 2.5 times the fat as the medium and although I am some what small I have a large amount of fat that can be grabbed in the area below my breasts down to my belly button. This applicator briefly took my breath away as the sucking began! Very uncomfortable for the first 8-10 minutes but then it was easy and not uncomfortable at all. When I say 'very uncomfortable' it's hard to relate the feeling to something else. Bring an ipad or book to distract you.
That day I also had my lower abs done (2 treatments - 1 per side) using the medium applicator. I did the the area to the left, and then right, just below my belly button. I didn't do the area just below my belly button because that area is pretty firm already (strange, I know!).
Overall, the applicators are uncomfortable the first 5-10 minutes. If you're worried about the discomfort I'd suggest taking 2 Motrin 800's about thirty minutes before your session. I do this when I get waxed and it really helps!
My abs are very uncomfortable from having all the treatment areas done with days of each other. At times it feels like I've done 5000 crunches! YES I said 5000! It also feels bruised in areas, but no visual bruising. I have to wear high-waisted compression pants to run on my treadmill - jumping up and down is just way to painful! And I forgo a bra whenever possible since the area just below my breast is still very tender.
RIGHT NOW I'm doing my inner thighs (2 treatments - 1 each thigh) using the Coolsmooth applicator. This app doesn't suck your fat into a chamber. It's more like strapping a 6x8 block of ice on your inner thigh. It's not a block of ice though! Super cold, but again only the first ten minutes. I actually think the cold on this applicator is more intense (in the first couple minutes) because you don't have the vacuum tugging sensation to balance out the "pain". I've finished my left inner thigh and now I'm on my right.
I'll post before and after pics when I come back for follow up in a month.

Provider Review
Andrea performed the procedures for me. She was really nice, easy to talk to and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all!
