Surgery is next week and I am so excited. At my highest weight I was over 250, I now weigh in at 142 and I am 5'5" tall. I had weight loss surgery over a year ago and I am having this surgery to remove the loose skin and lift and fill my breasts back up to what they should look like.
I chose Dr. Alspaugh in Va Beach. He uses the quilting procedure for TT and it is drainless. He also uses Exparel which is injected at the time of surgery into your muscles and it delivers up to 72 hours of pain relief making this a very bearable procedure. They say that most patients maybe have pain of about a 4 on a scale of 1-10 so I will report back and let you all know. I have been stalking this site for months (like most of us do) and if I never see another pair of boobs EVER again it will be too soon. HAHA I will post some before pictures soon and afters when I am done.

Just got home and on the couch. Pain is at a 1-2 out of 10. Feels like sunburn on my tummy. Arms are sore a little kinda like i did a ton of push ups. So far so good. Thank you Exparel...you are making a world of difference.

So yesterday I was drowsy a little from the meds same as today. Pain is at about 2 out of 10. I think the Exparel injection and no drains is making WORLD of difference. I went up stairs yesterday and washed my hair in the sink with the help of a washcloth and cup to rinse. I have my check up tomorrow so I will get to see my tummy then. Boobs are bruised but don't hurt at all. My arm are a little sore like I did a bunch of push ups. My PS extended the incision under the breast to remove the excess skin in the bra area. You'll be able to see what I mean from the pictures. After losing over 115 pounds I am finally feeling normal.

Heard Exparel makes a big difference in pain vs. no pain or little pain. Lucky you! Heal well. I'm interested to hear how recuperating without drains goes. Post pix and keep us updated! :)

I stopped taking my Dilauded last night and just did mortin. I feel a little stiff this morning but that is just from sleeping I'm sure. I'll post more deltails after my checkup this afternoon. So I am on Day 3 and feeling pain at a 2 out of 10. With no narcotics.
