After breastfeeding 2 kids back to back, I was left with deflated breasts and what felt like nothing but empty sacks of skin. I wanted to have full, perky breasts. I was a 34D before kids and my goal at the end of surgery was to be a full C or small D cup. After discussing the different types of implants, I decided to go with saline because when I did a blind feel test, I thought the saline felt the most natural. Also, I liked that they were a less risky choice as far as leaking and not interfering with future mammograms. For size I chose 325cc. Due to my petite frame it was important to me that my boobs are not the center of attention. I didn't want them sticking out on the sides or overwhelming my upper body. I actually liked the look of 300cc the best on me but they suggested I go up one size because I would be losing some of my own breast tissue with the lift. So even though I was choosing the 325, I would get the appearance of ~300cc.

Hi!! When is your surgery date? Congrats on making the decision to have your breasts done. Hun, I think its one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I have no children, and I just had sacks of skin for breasts. Im 5 months post op. AMAZING experience. Please keep us posted on your results. I think you will look just beautiful. :)

Size looks like a good fit for your stature. How is the bedside man or is the doctor and nurses?

Excellent bedside manner. Nobody rushed me through any part of the process. Dr Hubbard has a natural way of putting people at ease. All of his nurses are great too!

Feeling very sore in the pectoral muscle/armpit areas. He ended up placing 300cc saline implants filled to 355cc on the right and 365cc on the left. The reason he sized down one was because it was important to me that the implants not look to wide for my frame and if he would have placed 325 and overfilled with extra 50cc to account for going beneath the muscle then that would have put me in the high profile range which I didn't want. I completely trust his expertise since it was clearly communicated the look that I was going for. I will be taking my first shower later today which will coincide with my next dose of pain pill. I'm finding it's best to stay on top of the pain medication regimen. When I try to go longer intervals between pain meds, the pain gets a little out of control and then I have a hard time managing it to get it back under control and have a hard time getting comfortable again.

Hi!! Congrats on your new boobies. The first few days are the hardest. Try not to get your incisions too wet in the shower. Yes,,,keep on top of the pain meds. If you let the pain get out of control...its super hard to feel better again. That was my experience too. You look wonderful.....I hope you are enjoying your new girls. I know they probably feel foreign, and strange right now. But believe it or now,,,in a few months...it will feel like you have had them all your life. :) Take good care of your new girls. Happy Healing!!!! :)
