I'm almost three weeks post-op from breast augmentation surgery performed by Dr. Colgrove. I have 600cc right breast and 550cc left breast and went from an A Cup to a D Cup. I am extremely pleased with the results - better than I expected! Lots of pain the first day and less each day afterwards. By day four pain most of pain was gone. This experience was very good. I highly recommend Dr. Colgrove if you are considering breast augmentation.

Hey Jamie, I was wondering what were your measurements going into the BA? I'm debating a size between 500-600cc and am looking for other females in my height/weight bracket that got this same size. Thanks!

Thanks for the question. At the time, I was wearing VS 38B Bombshell bras that added 2 cupsizes. Now I fill out a 38D with no padding. YAY!! I am 5' 9 and weighed 177 at surgery. Dr. Colgrove used two different sized Mentor silicon gel implants to even out my breasts. I am super pleased with the result and get many compliments on "perfect" breasts now. I hope your augementation goes as well as you expect. Mine was great!

From the sizes of implants I see in posts here at Real Self, women much smaller than you or I are getting implants in the 500-600cc range. I think you will be ok. During your consultation the doctor will take measurements of your chest/ribcage and dimensions of each breast to see what the maximum size implant would fit. From there he/she will recommend what will look good. I could have gone up to 700 to 750 but didn't. I am happy with what I chose.
