I met with Dr. Colgrove at Vinings Plastic Surgery Center in Atlanta today. The office was very well run. They told me they would work me in, but I was called promptly at my appointment time. They took some 3D images and showed me what my breasts would likely look like after the lift and implant. I watched a couple of videos, saw several books of photos, tried on a bra and some implant sizes. The doctor came in briefly, but we didn't feel rushed. It ended up being more than I expected, but I see great outcomes, so I think it will be worth it.

Pre op visit
I went in for my preop visit. It was very well organized and informative. I signed about a million consents and I'm getting excited and very nervous. Just 2 and a half weeks until the big day. The RN was nice to pull back up the 3 D images for me since I forgot to take a picture of the estimate of what my breasts will look like. I didn't know that the surgeries will be 6-7 hours total. Oh my!

Girl! I am making it slowly but surly. I could not handle the morphine at all so pain management the first 12-15 hours was rough. I have the pain more under control so I am feeling better. I'm eating, drinking and moving round. Took a shower today and got to see the girls a little bit better. I go tomorrow for my first post op and I pray they take these drains out.
How are you? How'd it go? I can't wait to hear all about your experience.

I'm pretty sleepy. Haven't had to take the morphine. Tat. Four drains. Lots of drainage. Staving but nothing sounds good.

You sound like you are doing great! Yay! Thank goodness you have not had the morphine it is awful! The first thing I actually wanted to eat was grapes.

Day of treatment
Went great!
Exparel is amazing. Took 7 ours ????????. Too groggy for details. I will catch up later.
