All done, after 5 years & 10 months total.
On January 15th I had my last ortho appt & am all done! I just have to wear my last set of aligners every night for as long as I want my teeth to stay straight. I go back in 6 months for a check up, but all done, finally, after almost 6 years. Now time for some gumwork. I don't have any dental insurance, so this will cost me a fortune. I plan on getting 2 consultations & my 1st appt is this Thursday, January 23rd. This 1st dentist told me to come back after my teeth were all done, but that was years ago. I didn't forget though.
On my last set of in-house aligners!
I was given 3 sets of clear aligners after my wire braces were removed in October and told to wear each set for 3 to 4 weeks. I am on my 3rd set, with less than 2 weeks until I am all done! They look just like my Invisalign did. I am back to whitening my teeth regularly. So happy this is almost over !!!
Wire braces removed today!
Here is a picture of my teeth, right after my braces removal. 10/11/2019. This is too short of an update, so........still too short. Blah blah blah blah blah. :) Still too short. One other thing- My teeth feel incredibly smooth & large, and brushing my teeth feels like I am brushing up against silk or velvet. I hope this is long enough!

My 2 new orthodontist are very different than my original orthodontist. Other than my 1st visit about 2 1/2 months ago, I have not had much contact with them. The dental hygienist is who I mainly see now.
