This progress has still been made with picoway and there are now 16 months of treatment. hoping for complete removal! quite happy with the results so far though. posting maybe sth again in some months. stay tuned folks :D

Good luck ! 2-3 treatment will be necesary i thinks. Especially if this summer you take a break and expose your tattoo in the sun.

Hello everyone!
It has been some time since I posted something. Last Summer I decided to get my 2 tattoos removed, but actually just began with the treatments mid octobre because I wanted to be sure not to rush this time and to do the right thing.
I´ve had 3 Sessions so far, but only on my leg. I'm still afraid to laser the tattoo on the back of my arm, because I think when the artist did the cover up, he mixed lots of white with gray, and I'm really afraid that it will look really messy if all the white turns dark... Is it sure that the darkening can be removed with further laser treatments? I was thinking to do a test spot in June when i will be going for my 4 tx on my leg.
The laser the technician is using is the picoway. I am actually very pleased with the results. Only 3 tx down and i can already see lots of fading, mainly because my tattoo was really really really dense. It happens me to like it even now when it's so much lighter. Still I'm looking for complete removal if possible!
I spaced the treatments at least 8 weeks apart. It will be 13 weeks before my 4th tx. It seems to be true that tattoos keep fading even after so much time.
I will post an update after my next laser session. Also with the test spot results on the arm tattoo if i will do one.

Hey, wie geht es dir mit deinen Tattoos? Ich habe auch ein riesiges Problem. Hab mir mein altes lasern lassen, Narben bekommen, obwohl ich bei Ärzten war und hab mir vor 2 Monaten ein neues drüber machen lassen! Größter Fehler meines Lebens. Wie geht es dir bei Frau Dr. Klein. Sie hat ja erst seit kurzem den Picoway laser! Warst du auch schon mal bei Dr. Kohrgruber? Die haben den Picosure Laser?

Bei welchem Arzt warst du denn in Wien wo du Narben bekommen hast?
Die Frau Dr. Klein ist super finde ich. Nimmt sich seeeehr viel Zeit, beantwortet jedes Mal meine Fragen und ist auch ehrlich zu mir. Ich war auch beim Dr. Kohrgruber im 17ten Bezirk beim Vorstellungsgespräch, nur leider haben die mich überhaupt nicht überzeugt, auch von den Preisen her fand ich es übertrieben, wobei ich es bei der Frau Dr. Klein eigentlich ganz okay finde vom Preis her! Dermacare fand ich auch super, nur leider haben die nur einen traditionellen Laser, wobei ich jedoch gehört hab dass dieser für schwarze Tätowierungen genauso effektiv sein soll wie der Picoway. Dr. Kohrgruber hat zwar den Picosure, jedoch wurde schon öfters belegt dass dieser nicht die richtige Wellenlänge hat für schwarze Tattoos sondern eher für Farbige.
Ich kann dir nur sagen, verschwende nicht zu viele Gedanken daran, sei geduldig und du wirst sehen dass es mit der Zeit und mit den Behandlungen immer besser gehen wird. Nach 3 Behandlungen sehe ich schon immense Fortschritte bei mir, und von Narben sehe ich noch nicht, obwohl die Haut an der gelaserten Stelle etwas schroff ist und bisschen anders. Aber mir sind die Narben irgendwann dann auch egal, weil damit glaub ich kann ich besser leben. Ich benutze zwischen den Behandlungen oft Aloe Vera Creme, vor allem in den ersten Wochen. Schau mal bei Der Frau Dr. Klein vorbei! Die Erstbesprechung ist kostenlos! Alles liebe

Danke für deine Antwort. War bei Dermacare, Bei Dr. Klein und Dr.Kohrgruber. Bei wem die Narben schlussendlich entstanden sind, lässt sich schwer sagen. Bin eh jetzt wieder zu besprechen bei Frau Dr. Klein. Hätte ich mir nur auf das alte weiter drauf lassen lassen, aber Nein, ich hab ja was drüber gebraucht, dass keiner meine Narben sieht!

Mein Profilbild ist übrigens mein Tattoo. Ganz viel Bedeutung dahinter, und trotzdem soooo unglücklich!
Die Rose steht für die grosse Liebe zu meinen Kindern, die Uhr sollte eigentlich deren Geburtszeiten tragen und in die Schriftrollen sollten die Namen kommen.

Also Narben durch den Laser zu bekommen ist meines Erachtens sehr selten, das sagt zumindest die Theorie. Es kann nämlich sein dass die Narben schon von der ersten Tätowierung sind weil der Tätowierer zu tief gestochen hat. Waren die Narben denn so sichtbar? Was hat die Frau Dr. Klein denn dazu gesagt? Resp. Dr. Kohlgruber und die Ärzte bei Dermacare?
Und ich find dein Tattoo eigentlich recht hübsch, ist auch nicht zu dunkel (so schaut es zumindest auf dem Bild aus). Ich glaub dass du das recht schnell und effektiv entfernen lassen könntest. In meinen ist sehr viel Farbe und sie sind auch sehr dunkel! Warum bist du eigentlich bei allen Praxen gleichzeitig lasern gewesen?

War vor zwei Wochen mal zum Probelasern bei Fr. Dr. Klein. Das Lasern selbst war keine Hexerei. Allerdings hab ich noch immer eine Kruste und eine leichte Bräunliche Verfärbung. Ich denke an Farbumschlag, aber Dr. Klein meinte am Mittwoch Nein und es sieht alles normal aus. Ich hoffe sie ist ehrlich und hat recht

Hi everyone!
I got 2 tattoos some years ago (4-5) and I didn't like them some time later. So last year, I had both covered up, same thing, I ended up not liking these either. Now I'm looking into tattoo removal. I am currently based in Vienna, Austria. I already had an appointment with a doctor who has the newest picoway laser. She told me I would need at least 15(!!!) treatments to clear the tattoo completely, which is crazy. now im thinking about lightening them up enough to have a DECENT cover up. Btw i'm a tattoo person, i have 6 tattoos, but these 2 just make me sick. i also read about the skinial method (which exists in Austria) but I'm a bit sceptic. What do you guys think? Any advices? best wishes :)
P.S : they leg tattoo i want to remove is the dark spot, the rest i want to keep. The leg tattoo i want to remove is about 10x7 cm and veryyyy dark.

As for the white ink, it can turn black due to oxidization as white ink may contain zinc oxide or titanium. My entire lotus was outlined in white ink, but I don't really know if it turned black. I think it may have, but it would have just blended in with the black ink that was already there -- in saying that, it must be able to be removed with further treatments after turning black because most of my line work around my lotus was completely gone. Hope this helps!

Hi Eva! Thanks for the kind words. i'm pretty sure i'm doing this, even if it will take me a year or two to lighten it enough to have a decent cover up. i work out a lot and eat healthy, so i think this will be a + for the removal journey as i heard.

Picoway is not very good for black colours. They actually have a class action lawsuit against them for false advertising. Consider the latest Q switched technology, you will likely have better results and will also probably cost you less.

really? I heard picoway does great with black comparing to the picosure, which, as i heard, wasn´t so effective for black colors.

Bei der Frau Dr. Klein gehts super. Sie meint ich würde super Fortschritte machen, und dass in spätestens weiteren 2-4 Behandlungen außer den dunkleren Fleck alles weg wäre. ich frag auch jedes Mal ob sie die Energie bisschen aufdrehen kann, weil ich wirklich nur 3-4 Tage rote Stellen hab, bei mir heilt es super schnell ab, das liegt wahrscheinlich daran dass ich noch so jung bin und meine Haut schnell regeneriert. von Narben auch keine Spur, ich seh hier und da aber ganz ganz wenig Hypopigmentation, ansonsten alles perfekt. wie ist es bei dir?
