Too Early to Tell - Day 7

I was unsure of what to expect. This was part of a dermal package that included Aerolase spot treatment, daily skin products to combat melasma, and a diamond facial (in 3 weeks). The staff is fantastic, but this is the second big package I’ve purchased in effort to remove the very visible melanin spots on my face; to the tune of grand total over $1,400. My skin does look brighter and more refined but too early to tell how effective this will be.

The procedure itself is fairly painless due to the lidocaine infused acid cocktail. The smell was awful for the next 4 hours. The next two days were pretty intense itching (cream for that is included) and 36 hours later my face looked like a snake shedding its skin. That was 2.5 days of embarrassing mess. My skin was so dry and taut (my lips split in the corners) that I had to spot moisturize with a very thin layer of Aquaphor. But by day 6, I could tell a difference. Skin was more refined, looked healthier and renewed - I’m just not sure that it was worth the cost . . . yet. This is a 7 day treatment regiment. Spots are still there and still noticeable, but lighter.
