Q Front mount of filler caused nose sore and discoloration. What should I do? (photos)
A

HI! Thank you for your question! It appears that you may possibly have whats called a vascular occlusion and need to see your injector immediately or another facility closer to you to be evaluated. It may not be, but this discoloration definitely warrants further assessment and evaluation.

Q Am I a good candidate for tear trough filler? (photo)
A

Hi mooshie1995! Thanks for your question! Based on the photos you have submitted, it does appear that under eye filler would be a great option for you to fill in that void you have on the medial aspect of your under eyes and across the tear trough. It is best to be evaluated in person by an experienced injector to determine how much filler you would need to give you the desired correction. We use Restylane-L in our office under the eyes as this gives the most natural correction. Hope this information is helpful!

Sculptra
Q Could I opt for a non invasive treatment to reduce cellulite? Would Sculptra do this and raise my butt? (photos)
A

Hi poi64S4eh6! Thanks so much for your question! So after reviewing your photos, it appears that you have some lose skin as well as some cellulite and Sculptra is a great non-surgical option to pull the rear end up and fill in the cellulite! Sculptra is an injectable collagen stimulator, however it may take 2-6 months before you see any changes as it takes time for your body to produce collagen. It is best to get a consultation by an experienced injector to determine how many vials of Sculptra you would need to get the desired correction. Hope this information was helpful!

Juvéderm
Q Juvederm Ultra Plus. Is there anything I can do to speed up the swelling process? (Photo)
A

Hi azuureyes! Thanks so much for your question! Based on the photos you submitted, it appears you have more swelling in the upper lip due to bruising. Bruising and swelling is different for everyone, however most people have the majority of their swelling happen day 1- day 3. Topical Arnica Montana can help with the bruising. Prednisone, Ibuprofen or Aleve can be used to decrease swelling, if you don't have any contraindications for taking them. We also recommend Claritin or Zyrtec during the day and/or Benadryl at night, in addition, to decrease swelling.

This is the protocol we use in our office, however it is best to follow the protocol given to you by your injector as he/she is the medical professional treating you. If you haven't already, you should schedule a follow up appointment with your injector to have them assess your lips 1-2 weeks out from the date of injection. Hope this information helps!
