Vertical Thigh Lift/ Thigh Reduction

UPDATED FROM BeachBornandRaised
1 year post

Still glad I did it but a little disappointed revisions are so expensive

WORTH IT$10,000
Did I mention I had lipo also to contour my outer thighs at the same time of the thigh reduction? For some reason I still have bumps of fat on outer thighs. Inside my knees the skin comes to a little point. I had seen this in photos before but asked my PS and he said it wouldn’t happen. There’s also a saggy spot on one leg inner thigh. I pointed it out in a follow up, he said he would fix it along with some breast revisions would cost over $4,000 for operating room and anaesthesia but I used up all my credit for the first surgery so I guess I’ll have to wait to get it fixed.

Oh wow!! Thanks for the update. Keep us posted on your revisions. BTW, what don't you like about your breast?
You poor thing I feel very Rory for you with that terrible scar or life. I was considering something like his but having seen you and your result. I would never ever do this you looked better before and to think you paid to be left like that best wishes my heart goes out to you.
WTH kind of thing is that to say to someone? Wow.
This is an appalling thing to say. She looks fabulous!! And a couple tweaks here and there to the dog ears etc. and she'll look even better. Are you just a pathetic troll?
Hopefully it was not overly painful for you and your scar continues to fade. Might be helpful to apply scar gel routinely and ask about laser or IPL treatments for scars. You're brave to display it for our edification. Generally nice improvement though. I still need to read your comments. Just reviewed the photos...
It would seem that revisions for anything that should have been done better in the first place should be at the surgeon's cost if he values his reputation. At most, at pure cost with no profit. If it is something new that was not previously discussed, that's another matter.
I think you look fantastic. I have been wanting this for a long time now. Thank you so much for posting and giving an update 18 months post op. Hard to find someone in Canada.

Thighs healing nicely -

Just a couple puckers but I must say that even with the little dog ears and long scar, I am still so glad I did this. My legs aren’t perfect but I don’t feel hat they are distracting in a bad way like they were before. I also found some makeup that blends the scar a little so it’s less noticeable. Though men definitely don’t seem to care or even notice AT ALL about the scars. I’m actually surprised that no one seems to notice. But the makeup I found covers tattoos and scars and it’s called Double Wear Maximum coverage by Estée Lauder. I think I got a shade or two too dark but it’s pretty effective. And the reddish purple color is fading a lot. I will probably get lipo around my inner knees and get the dog ear puckers there fixed eventually so that line of my inner thighs doesn’t bow so much but I am so much more confident about my legs now.

Your legs look amazing! I’ve been contemplating this surgery for so long. Has an arm Lift/reduction last December and I’m so happy with that result i think i want to do this too! Did you get a groin incision too? Those are the only things that freak me out. Bravo girl you look smashing!!
Thank you so much-I’m very glad I did it. I did not get the groin incision but I can see on one leg it would help a little but I’m content with the improvement as it is. So I don’t think I will have any more work done on my legs except for scar revision
you look great! thanks for sharing. I’m doing leg left next Friday with groin and inner thigh incision. I’ve taken 10 days off. My Dr said I probably won’t have drains. Do you at 10 days you could have done light work? I’m a hospice nurse and can avoid lifting etc for as long as I need to. I appreciate your input.
omg I hate that I can’t edit my message on here... obviously doing a lift, not a left! I’m taking off 10 days, and am sure that’s not enough! Thank you for detailing your journey. It is helpful.
You look amazing! Your before pics look really similar to mine, you're obviously slim with not a huge amount of laxity but the improvement is beyond incredible! I have my thigh lift in 5 days (eek!) and would be delighted to attain the same beautiful results as you. Fingers crossed! Thank you for sharing your story and pictures. I can't wait to see more as you progress xx
Glad to read your own comments now and that you are generally satisfied. I am male and wish you the best for your continued improvements.

Pics to go with my last update

Oh Dr. Agha agreed to fix the dog ears but warned that my scar would go longer.

Great pics and info. how are you after a year? I had a lower body lift after losing 100lbs a year ago. It was worth it. however, my thighs just won't lose the ugly look. I've been thinking of thigh lift. I have worked out before and after recovery. How long were you incapacitated? It looks like you couldn't drive for 2 months
Hi- it has only been 6 months since my surgery. My surgeon suggested LBL but I knew that wouldn’t fix what I didn’t like about my thighs. If you can handle the scar I think it’s worth it bc no amount of exercise can tighten saggy thigh skin.
6 weeks until I was cleared to do full on exercise - I think I was able to go up and down stairs and drive after 3 or 4 weeks
Thank You. I'm going to have it done in February.
hey looks great! I am going to have a lipo on my whole thighs and the doc said I was too young (27) to get a thigh lift. Is there any other procedure? Was it worth it in your experience? I am scared that my leg after the lipo will be saggy and wrinkled. She said it will be a little bit but not much yet I dont know how much is little!
Hi- thank You! I looked your photos I think it will be hard to know about a thigh lift until after you have the lipo but I don’t think you need it because you not have a lot of excess skin, I bet with lipo your skin will adjust and you will see more contour without having to remove excess skin. Thigh lifts seem to be more for people who gain and lose a lot of weight and their skin loses elasticity and becomes saggy and flabby but your skin looks pretty tight. Hope that helps :)
hi !!!how is your scars now??? can you please post a photo ???? i will do the surgery one 22 of January and i am so afraid of the scars.....
Hi! I just posted an update with photos. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have! It’s a scary thing but in my opinion it was worth it.
