Vertical and Horizontal Tummy Tuck with thigh lipo and fat transfer Step 2 of 3 Full Body Makeover

Step two, tummy tuck. After losing 165lbs thanks to a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy in 2013. After consulting with Dr. Freed, we decided a both Vertical and Horizontal yummy tuck was needed. Aka Fluer D’ lie tummy tuck or Anchor tummy tuck. I also chose to have lipo on my inner thighs and have that fat transferred to my butt, for a more even appearance. When I got out of surgery I was in love with my tummy. The tightening of the bro I always muscles was the worst pain, but the lipo stayed sore for longer. The lipo on the thighs was essentially preparation for my future thigh lift. I also opted for no belly button, and happy I did. After four months, I chose to have a revision on my tummy tuck because I felt that more skin could be removed, and I’m happy I did....
But I did end up 6 days op with a nasty abdominal wall infection that hospitalized me for 7 days. Totally at no fault of my surgeon. Infection is always a risk when opening any body cavity. Still very pleased with my results now over 1 yr post op.
