I felt like 3+ years of nursing sucked the life out of my breast. When I weened my son, within three weeks, there was nothing left. I no longer identified with my body and I began to feel shame during intimacy with my husband. That’s when I decided a consultation could just be an opportunity to ask questions. After I met with Dr. Lu and his Staff, I was so impressed with the information he delivered and the flow of his consultation and his confidence, I had very few remaining questions. He answered them all as he talked. He was more kind than any other surgeon I’ve known and spent more time with me than I’ve heard of. I scheduled my procedure with him before leaving that day and canceled the other consultation I had on the way home.
The day of their surgery, there were no surprises. Dr. Lu and his staff cared for me so well. Called me that night and the next day. I had some swelling and bruising but after day 4 I was off the pain killers and walking the dog.
I’m 10 week’s post op, I can do all my high intensity workouts, love my look, have more intimacy with my husband and don’t have to stuff my push-up bra like a teenager! I went from not even an A cup to a full C.
