9 months post op update
Wanted to share a recent picture since it's been a while. I'm overall happy with my nose (still wish it was a little smaller, but don't we all?) and wanted to say thanks for every body's comments and messages of support :)

You look great. I'm at 4mnths post op w/ Dr. G, my bridge swelling is going doing, but not my tip. I think it looks a little weird but I know I must be patient. I see a beautiful transformation in your healing process. I can't wait for my 9 month mark! Congrats

Hey I just want to say that your nose has improved SO SO MUCH. It looks really really good now! I was nervous at first with your 2 week and 6 week pictures but after that it has slowly improved! I hope mine does the same thing because ive been having some trouble with my nose looking really curved/crooked. It does appear to be improving with time though (I'm at about 6 months now) so I hope to have results like yours!! congratulations!

I'm feeling better about my new nose. I saw Dr. G two months ago and he was pleased with my results. I did bring up the small dent on the left side of my tip but he wouldn't see what I was referring to. It is difficult to see if you look at my nose up close. He said not to worry about, there is still some swelling in the tip and to wait and see how it looks in about a year or so.
I'm like 70% happy with my nose now - I do wish the bridge wasn't wider than it was before surgery and I still am not super happy with how it looks when I smile, but overall I'm on board with the changes. I'm very excited to see how it will look when he swelling is completely gone!

I'm happy to hear you're feeling better about your nose. You're a beautiful lady and I wouldn't even notice your nose if I was looking at you in real life not knowing you underwent surgery. I'm going through some of the same emotions. I'm about 2 months post op and when the cast was removed my nose wasn't straight. I was distraught but it has straightened so much so I too am feeling better and can relate to that initial unsatisfaction... i keep telling myself to give my nose time to heal. I also try not to focus on it. Keep us posted with your journey. I enjoy reading other stories and may post mine soon.

I am also about 3 months post surgery rhino-septoplasty. My dr told me he can still do minor shrinkage of cartilage by injecting steroids into some areas, and that he would look at my pictures and assess that at my next appointment (which is I think another month from now). Plus you need to be patient to wait until all swelling is gone. So hang in there, it looks great.

Oh, I will have to ask Dr. G about using steroids next time I see him (that is, if I'm still unsatisfied with the tip). Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for posting an update, I'm happy to hear things continue to improve. I am anxiously awaiting my upcoming surgery 2/21. Did Dr. G. use any kind of "spreader graft" in your nose to prevent middle vault collapse? Did he attribute the wider bridge to swelling? At any rate, you look gorgeous and I'm sure it will only get better from here!

Hey! Good luck on your surgery(: I had my nose done by him about two weeks ago and he never explained throughly what he was going to do. Just the basic stuff. I highly recommend you ask these questions next time you see him or through email.

Ah, your surgery is coming up soon. Good luck! I don't believe he used a spreader graft, if he did I wasn't aware of it. I'm very bad with the medical terms used in this kind of surgery. Thank you for the kind words :)
