How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Yes This Does Hurt
This procedure is more painful than many other, if not most, traditional out patient procedures. I'm a skin care junky naturalkaos style so I've had a lot done. IPL, CO2, RF, microcurrent, microneedling, TCA peels, injectables, and mesotherapy. I have a pretty high pain tolerance. This was... unpleasant. I'm two hours out and my face doesn't hurt much now but the procedure itself was quite painful. It feels almost like a small taser. The topical numbing stops you from feeling any needles but of course doesn't numb deeper layers, which is where the RF is going. You feel it. And not the relaxing at home "warming sensation" RF. You also smell burning (probably hair since it's non ablative). I'll try and remember to update on progress. I got a package of three CO2 treatments and after my second I traded it out for a Venus just to see if the combination would be even better than just more CO2. Remains to be seen. Progress is always slow steady and based on consistency.
