First and foremost, if you're going to do ANY laser treatment, make sure you are going to a DERMATOLOGIST and not some MEDSPA, even if they have the greatest groupon deal on the planet.

After three Clear and Brilliant laser treatments at a MedSpa and two spot treatments for the redness on my cheek with ZERO results, I asked Dr. Wu, who was removing a couple of moles for me, what his recommendation would be to help with the sun spots around my eyes and the broken capillaries I had on my cheeks, especially a very pronounced one on my right cheekbone. He recommended vBeam, Picoway, and C&B all at once.

After getting numbed up, Dr Wu performed vBeam first and while it hurt, he said he could see the redness disappearing immediately. I thought this might be motivation to have me sit still while I endured the pain, but he was right! I got out of the chair and looked in the mirror, and yup, just like a magic eraser, the redness was gone. I was so impressed!!! I'll write a review regarding Picoway for the spots, but as of today, one week post procedures, my face looks flawless. I hate makeup and this just makes me so much more confident to go out without anything other than sunblock.

In regards to Dr. Wu as a dermatologist -- he is the best, period! Very personable, very nice, and he absolutely the magic touch!! I'd trust him with any recommendations and will not go to anyone else in the future. Save your money, avoid these spa places that are run by nurses. Go to the real deal, see a skilled dermatologist such as Dr. Wu. You won't be disappointed!
