Update: Revision

So after about 6 months from my initial surgery, I noticed some areas that needed to be touched up and that had saggier skin. I chose to discuss a revision procedure to help with these small imperfections. Dr Nykiel agreed, and I decided that I was going to go forward and do so. This consultation was made a few days before COVID (march) and before they closed down temporarily. I am from another country and only have limited time that I am back in the states. From day one I tried and tried to at least schedule a date to reserve a date for my surgery, knowing I’d be in the country during these times only. I totally understand during COVID, the unknown was prominate. They also told me they would not be booking any further appointments until they open. I decided to be patient and wait it out. Come June, I heard they were reopening and dates were beginning to be booked. Supposedly they were not taking any Revision surgeries during the first half of their reopening. The entire time I tried to at least book a date for July and or August (since I know I’d be in town during that time for sure). No one got back to me, no one was able to give me an answer, or help me to resolve this. It got to a point where I felt like I bugging them too much to book a date booked. I began to see procedures being posted on Instagram live of REVISIONS....Finally, I get a message saying they were allowing bookings and that I should contact the office. I called about 5 times, no answer, left voicemails and no one got back to me. It took about 2ish weeks for someone to talk to me, and even then couldn’t help because the booking girl was sick and not in the office. I only just got an email stating that the next available date is in OCTOBER...... Honestly this is very disheartening To hear. The amount of times I’ve tried to book a date... Especially knowing I am from another a country completely, it’s not easy for me just make certain dates happen. Totally disappointed and now having mixed reviews. I recommend if you are travelling from another country, to maybe find a place locally in your area. It seems like if a revision is being made, they put you on the back burner.

Vaser Lipo Success!

After my research on the various types of lipo, I came across this special Vaser technique. To my surprise, Dr Nykiel who I had been following through social media happened to be an Official Vaser Trainer! Knowing this, I automatically felt confident that he clearly was educated and knew the best techniques on this procedure. Before even making a consult I knew he would be the perfect person for what I was looking to get done.
Fast forward to last week.. Got the full Vaser Lipo 360 done, surgery went smoothly.
The first hour at home was the only worst part in my opinion as I was waiting for my pain medication to kick in. Standing up and moving around felt SOOOO much better In comparison to just sitting down. I felt that when I sat for too long that my body would almost cramp up and that having to stand back up gave me an unenjoyable weird stretching sensation (not painful though). Once the first pain pill set initially, I got to see that the pain In fact was mild. The feeling was similar to having aching back period pains. Nothing that I haven’t experienced before. The whole thing for me just felt like I just had a sore body from doing too much at the gym. Very tolerable.
The one thing I will mention is the compression garment is not fun.. at all.. although it is very important to wear for swelling purposes, the first few nights having to sleep in it were hell. I’m not sure if I was just so swollen but the hooks and corners were leaving me with pain throughout the night and I couldn’t get comfortable at all. The swelling was also rushing down Into my vagina area and thighs!! Since a week has passed and I’ve done 2 massages already, I can now sleep more comfortably but obviously still needing to wear the compression under the swelling is completely gone.. can’t wait to just wear nothing and be able to breathe soon :D lol Vagina is the most swollen part on my whole body still..
Completely normal it’s just super weird! We shall see how it goes
