Vaser Lipo Honest and Detailed Review
UPDATED FROM MyVLjourney_
Pictures and 1 month update!
Hi everyone!!!! Hope everyone’s doing well. So as you all probably know from my previous review, I had VL done on my full abdomen, back, flanks and chin. I decided to do a one month update, and my next update will be in 2 months time.
So to start off, at one month, I finally feel like my old self. I have no discomfort, pain, lightheadedness or sickness like I did in the previous weeks. What worried me was that I was a little lightheaded even at 3 weeks which isn’t common, but now (thank god!) I’m feeling like myself. The garment is becoming super comfortable for me and it’s recommended to wear it (and the inserts) for a minimum of 4 weeks, which I’ve just passed, but I still haven’t taken it off because it’s become so comfortable now, that wearing clothes without it just feels weird!!! Never thought I’d say that hahahahaha. But anyways, I’ll slowly start going days without the inserts but I know for sure I’m keeping the actual garment on for a while. It also became really loose for me so I had to buy another one in a much smaller size which is always a good sign!!!
I don’t have much else to say other than, the first 2 weeks were HORRIBLE for me. I hated the garment, I hated the nauseous and lightheadedness, I hated all of it and regretted it. But now, at one month, the results On my stomach and back are amazing!!
HOWEVERRRRR!!!!! I also had VL on my chin and there’s absolutely NO change. I would have thought that by 1 month, the chin would look good but honestly there’s no change so that’s been the only disappointment for me. I’m going to see how the next month goes and if no change, then maybe I’ll go for round 2 on chin or Aqualyx??? Have any of you guys had Aqualyx before?
But anyways, I’ve attached a before and after pic and I know it’s not the clearest but please bare with me!!!! When dr Joffily sends my pre op and post op pics, I’ll post them on here too.
I’ll be back hopefully after the third month is over (when the final results are visible) and give you guys an update, but if you have any questions or anything, as always, feel free to let me know!! Xx

I definitely agree!!! I’ve been taking progress pics and it definitely improves with time. It’s also super swollen for the first few weeks and you look bigger than normal but you do soon see results! Xx
I also know that twinging feeling!!!!!! I always get super paranoid as soon as I feel even once small tiny bit of pain or a twitch and think something bad has happened hahaha. But patience is key because now I’m over the “regret” phase and honestly lovingggg my abdomen!!! All the jeans that never used to fit me, finally fit and it feels amazing!!! But do update me on how it goes and if you go for a round 2!! Do you still have to pay full price for a round 2 if results aren’t what you envisioned??? You had your surgery with Dr Joffily right? X

Hi! So good to hear that you are loving your results! My round 2 will actually be the 2nd op for 360 vaser on my thighs I really want it all done before the end of the yr. My surgeon wasn't Dr Joffily but he was someone that I read up about. I went with another surgeon.
I know that some surgeons do free revision or 'top ups' if you are not happy with the results. When you have your next follow up, do ask Dr. Joffily. I signed lot of paperwork, with repeat statements(?), basically saying my surgeon wasn't liable for if anything went wrong or if results weren't satisfactory etc which was a bit off putting as I was about to have the procedure, so I doubt he would do any free revisions! Hence me waiting to see how my arm and flank results pan out before I get the 360, otherwise I will probably go to Dr. Hamlet or Dr. Comins.

Do you get the garments free of charge with your surgery or do you have to pay extra for those? Thanks
No, you have to pay extra. My DR recommended MACOM to purchase the garments.
Most doctors include one garment (the one you go home with). However you will need more and they are not cheap.
UPDATED FROM MyVLjourney_
10 days post op Review
Hi guys,
I’m currently on day 10 on the road to recovery. Here’s my 10 day post op update.
Luckily for me, I was barely in any pain after day 2 of surgery, and since then, I’ve experienced 0 pain but some discomfort. The discomfort is because of the inserts in the garment which make it super difficult to bend down and move around. At day 10, I can now say that I can FINALLY walk properly and move around. Getting up is a little difficult but I’m fine! The nausea has subsided, but makes a return here and there.
I’ve realised that since surgery, my appetite has gone down. Not sure if I’m happy about that since it’ll make weight loss easier or if I should be worried that I’m not eating much haha. But I’ve noticed that I eat so much less than usual and less often too. I can’t eat portion sizes that I would normally eat, but I guess I’m not complaining.
The Past 10 days have been the worst for me mainly because of the lightheadedness I’ve experienced; constantly feeling dizzy and woozy has been the horrible, but I can see that it’s slowly getting better. I can go longer Now without getting dizzy etc, albeit it is STILL there. If you read my previous review, you wouldve seen that I was going to get a blood test to make sure everything is fine and I’m not suffering from anaemia or that there’s anything alarming in my blood that’s causing dizziness. Well, my reports came back within a few hours and my blood count is all very healthy so I’m still a little confused as to why I’m dizzy if I’m not on any medication and blood is fine. I think That if the lightheadedness persists once week 3 is over, I’ll go to my GP and get it checked out to be safe.
But overall, after a few MLD sessions and 10 days of rest, im finally Starting to feel more like myself and able to go out etc.
The garment struggle is REAAL for all my ladies who have worn the annoying inserts, you know EXACTLY what I mean haha! Luckily this week in London will be a little rainy and cooler so I can cover the garment easier thank god. 33 degrees and a garment with thick padded inserts is HELL! Deffo recommend anyone who’s considering Vaser lipo to wait till Autumn/ winter when it’s easier to cover up and hide the under garments.
Okay so to wrap this up since I’m waffling, I don’t want to post my before and after On here just yet, (I will Probably wait till week 6 when I see Dr Joffily again and ask him for his before and afters since Mine aren’t super clear pics) but I’m SOOOOOO happy With the results! Only 10 days in and I already have a flat tummy and minimal swelling? I’m super duper happy with it! I can see more of an hourglass figure and no fat rolls in sight! If you want pics, drop me a private message since I don’t want to post my pics on here but I’ll happy to private message you them!
Also, I know this is a very expensive procedure. You’re looking at around £6900 for full abdomen flanks and back (rough estimate but obviously can be more or less), as well as pre op test costs, garment costs, MLD costs, Etc. The surgeon recommends Zaida and I’m sure she’s excellent at her job, as I’ve seen lots of really good reviews On her, but you have to pay £95+ For one MLD with her. I instead opted to go with Bodytonic clinic in London, and asked for SHEENA (£58-£65) for a session which is so much more affordable in the long run. She’s really amazing at MLDs so do check her out if you’re looking for something more affordable.
I’ve had my one week post op appointment with Dr Joffily, and ecerything seems good so far. My blood is healthy, I’m healing really well, and he said my results are amazing so far (which I completely agree with). He’s an amazing doctor and listened to me complaining about post op difficulties and answered my 3722728292 questions too haha. I deffo recommend him if you’re even slightly worried about him. He and the staff are amazing and very professional.
Anyways, I hope I’ve covered everything. My next review will probably be after 1 week or 2, depending on if anything changes. As always, feel free to drop me a comment, or private message and I’ll be sure to respond!! Xx

Hi. Did the surgeon advise when the swelling would go down? Really worried about skin retraction.
Hey, apparently swelling stays a long time even if you can’t tell! I still have a little bit of swelling but it’s not super noticeable and skin retraction wasn’t a problem. Hope your surgery went well!! Xx
What is the difference between VL and normal lipo?
VL is less invasive, less risk and faster recovery time.

I am looking at a very big change of you .. I want to do lipo too but I do not know how much I will have a change .. as for aqualyx I have used it for chin and I have a lot of results but you have to do 3 or 4 sessions
UPDATED FROM MyVLjourney_
VL recovery update
HEY GUYS! I'm currently 4 days post op, well nearing the end of it! Im going to give you guys an update on my recovery so far!
The pain on day 2 and 3 was the WORST! I felt so useless like I could barely walk and move around, and I was super sick and nauseous. Its now day 4 and I'm still a little light headed and nauseous. I can barely eat without getting sick, and I get random dizziness which scares me. I had one MLD and honestly it was incredible! the swelling has gone down slightly and I can finally move around a little now so thats been great. But I'm still experiencing lightheadedness and nausea so I couldn't go to my 2nd MLD :(
I need to stress the importance of not only going to a good surgeon, but also one who is qualified and good enough to deal with the aftermath and any potential complications. Since its almost day 5 and I'm still dizzy and sick, I contacted dr joffily who told me this is normal for some patients, but he still scheduled my post op appointment and told me I could get checked for free at the lab (and tell the lab to invoice him instead) to make sure my blood levels are fine for my own peace of mind. Honestly guys, he's been real nice and so has Bianca, his patient coordinator, replying to me at silly late night times when I've been stressed that something is wrong.
I am still lowkey worried and hope that he is right, and that ill be fine, but I guess ill never be fully content until I get tested and the dizziness and sickness fully goes away. Thats probably been the hardest part about recovery :(
Anyways, I can already see some results and a more curved figure but super swollen so I guess ill wait and see.
As always, I hope you guys enjoyed the read and if you have any questions, be sure to ask away!!

It will only be week 3 for me on Friday and I get weird sharp 'twinges' in my flanks and my arms feel super tight at times but I guess that is just the healing. Once I go for my 2nd post op and subject to further results, I will go for the next stage of the surgery!
