How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Glad I Did This
Like most people, I had some stubborn fat deposits no matter how much I exercised and made smart nutrition choices. Decided VASER was the best course for me and got it on my abdomen, flanks, and chest. On the day of my procedure, everything was seamless. The nursing staff was excellent and comforting when I had a bit of last-minute anxiety. My surgeon and anesthesiologist were both responsive to my questions and provided me with confidence.
Whole procedure took about 2.5 hours, and was sent home in a compression garment once I had woken up from the anesthesia and got my wits about me. Really easy, comfortable process.
My incision sites were left open to encourage draining. Was definitely draining a lot, but I agreed that this was a good way to get rid of excess fluid and limit post-op swelling.
Right now (2 days post-op), I'm feeling pretty good! There's some not-insignificant pain when getting up from where I'm recovering on the couch, but the general pain is really low. Compression garment isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's too early to see what the results will really look like, and I have a pocket or two of irregular contouring which should go away with my body getting rid of fluids and the swelling going down. Bruising just started to show, but it isn't on every point of my torso and I think bromelain and arnica will help.
Don't have any before-photos, but the clinic took some and hopefully I can provide a before/after comparison once I've gotten past the 2-month mark. So far so good!
