I can't understand why this guy isn't more popular. He has changed my life dramatically! He listened to my concerns and he even fixed my tummy tuck that was performed by another Dr. He is the best in WA and needs more recognition for what he can do! Thank you Dr. Dragotti!
Like most people, I had some stubborn fat deposits no matter how much I exercised and made smart nutrition choices. Decided VASER was the best course for me and got it on my abdomen, flanks, and chest. On the day of my procedure, everything was seamless. The nursing staff was excellent and comforting when I had a bit of last-minute anxiety. My surgeon and anesthesiologist were both responsive to my questions and provided me with confidence. Whole procedure took about 2.5 hours, and was sent home in a compression garment once I had woken up from the anesthesia and got my wits about me. Really easy, comfortable process. My incision sites were left open to encourage draining. Was definitely draining a lot, but I agreed that this was a good way to get rid of excess fluid and limit post-op swelling. Right now (2 days post-op), I'm feeling pretty good! There's some not-insignificant pain when getting up from where I'm recovering on the couch, but the general pain is really low. Compression garment isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's too early to see what the results will really look like, and I have a pocket or two of irregular contouring which should go away with my body getting rid of fluids and the swelling going down. Bruising just started to show, but it isn't on every point of my torso and I think bromelain and arnica will help. Don't have any before-photos, but the clinic took some and hopefully I can provide a before/after comparison once I've gotten past the 2-month mark. So far so good!
I am sorry to hear that you were ill. I have a few comments here. 1. Forehead Botox typically is "locked in" or bound to the neuromuscular junction within the first 24 to 48 hours- some would say 4 hours, so vomiting closer to 48 hours or more is less likely to cause problems or affect results dramatically when typically a low volume around 10 units or so is used. I typically let patients return to normal exercise after 24 hours and have not seen any problems. 2. Although food poisoning can cause vomiting, Botox has side effects including but not limited to Flu like symptoms which have been reported as far out as 2 weeks, and there have been reports of vomiting in the literature. This is something you would want to notify the injector and your physician about. 3. Prolonged vomiting could lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalances and esophageal issues like tears. Following up with your physician promptly for proper exam and treatment is warranted.
