Dr. Fischer was kind and considerate

I had a great vaser liposuction experience with Dr. Fischer at Gateway Laser in Salt lake City. Dr. Fischer was kind, considerate, and went above and beyond in explaining my procedure and what to expect. I had my arms, inner thighs, knees, flanks, abs, and bra fat done. I am 48 years old and have always been slim. I started to get a layer of fat due to hormonal and metabolism changes. I have had two babies and I have never had any procedures before. I am so happy with the results. I feel like I have my 30 year old body back. I fit in my clothes so much better. The procedure was over two days--spaced 3 days apart. I was given a valium and a painkiller for sedative and pain purposes. I was given laughing gas during the procedure. Dr. Fischer used a local anesthetic with saline before the vaser. Each procedure took about 2-3 hours. I didn't feel anything and I was very relaxed during the procedure. After, I was bandaged up and put in the compression garment. I was able to walk to the car. I mostly slept the first day. As to pain, the day after each procedure I didn't have much pain due to the lidocaine in my body. The next week was pretty rough. It hurt really bad for about 2-3 days. I went back to work on the 4th day. It was tough. After a week it started to get better and has gotten progressively better as each week has passed. After 4 weeks I don't really have any pain, but I do have numbness where the nerves are still healing. As to the compression garment, I really hated having to wear it. It was so confining and felt like I was wearing a straight jacket on my whole body. I had to buy another brand, since I needed to wear it for a while. Now I don't like to have it off--it feels like it is holding things together. I was supposed to wear it for four weeks, but I am still going to wear it for another couple of weeks. Dr. Fischer is incredibly professional. She is also very skilled at vaser. She is an artist. Her staff is incredibly nice and friendly. I am so happy I decided to do vaser lipo. I was scared to do it and it cost a lot, but it was totally worth it. I feel like I can wear a swimsuit, a tank top, and shorts again. I am very happy I chose Dr. Fischer and would recommend her to anyone who is considering having this procedure.
