So far, considering the price, everything has been good.
I met Dr McAdoo two days before surgery, when I went in to get blood work.
There has only been one problem which was a call (6 days before surgery) that came in telling me I needed to change doctors because of my BMI. Initially it was 36, but I was at a "low" when I called (I fluctuate at 10lb!! sucks). McAdoo's cut off is 35. I was now 37. I understood his boundaries but felt that I should have been informed of that much earlier. I asked to speak to the doctor and the manager said it couldn't happen cause he was off. I decided okay, let's cancel. This was so disappointing. The manager said she could not get in contact with the finance department. I called to cancel my flights and it would cost $450. It would be better to continue the trip with it without the surgery. I called Leo my coordinator to talk to her about this mix up. She convinced me that the surgery would be safe. It's just that McAdoo has a preference to work on smaller. After understanding that he wasn't "unable" to preform the surgery safely, I said okay let's keep the date.
Leo added some bonus extras to make up for the mix up. I put it all behind me. It's been the only hiccup.
