Week 3
At 3 weeks post op. I'm happy with how my everything is healing. My cheeks are still a little swollen, the left cheek implant is feeling a little more tender and still feels lower than the right side. I find smiling a little difficult yet. Looking forward to it all settling in.

Wow, you look great! The lip lift is very flattering! Best wishes for continued positive healing !

Thanks for the updates! You are healing so beautifully at 3 weeks. Love how the lip lift gives such a youthful look. Eyes and cheeks look great too. Is there any stiffness in the cheek area when you smile?
April 15, 2017
Yes definitely stiff, my lip incision is also tight so it's hard to smile. My face gets really tired by the end of the day!

I hadn't seen these pics until now. WOW! You look terrific. You were very pretty before, but that's what I was talking about regarding the tired appearance. All of your surgeries turned out wonderfully, but I'm focusing on the eye area. The difference side by side is phenomenal. You look more "awake," yet not the surprised look. It's perfect. And, it looks really natural. You don't look like a different person and I suspect many people you know casually may not even realize you did this because it's so natural. They may just think you have been working out or are just happier. It is Subtle enough, yet it makes a big difference in your overall appearance. You look happier and livelier. That's important to me for sure. People closest to me will know and I'll tell them anyway. I don't want any drastic change in appearance either. Props to you and your doc!

Looking good! How does the lip lift scar look now? Does it still seem quite noticeable?
April 14, 2017
It's getting better. I've been putting silicone gel tape on it every night. I think that's helped smooth it out. It's still quite red but with good concealer it's not too noticeable.

Day 9
Got to put on a little makeup today, starting to feel half normal again! Had my 1 week follow up appointment yesterday. Healing is going well. I asked about the asymmetry in my cheek implants, doctor said it's still too early to tell how they'll settle in. I need to give it more time to heal. I can definitely feel the bottom of my left implant in my cheek with my tongue whereas I can't feel my right one at all. Hopefully it'll move back up into place. I'm happy with my lip lift. I'm hoping the scar heals up a little nicer, I find it really noticeable right now.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the community! I think you were pretty before, btw, and I hope you'll be thrilled with your results! I had upper and lower bleph on February 15th, so we're about a month apart. It looks like your PS extended the upper lid incisions to the outer edges of your eyebrows, which I think should be great! My incisions don't seem to go out that far, and I'm not sure if I'm in love with the results yet, but it's way too early to tell. You look great! Congrats on doing this for yourself, and I look forward to following your progress!

My eyes look very similar to your before pics. I have always had excess skin on my eyelids. It's slowly gotten worse over time. I am turning 43 in 2 days. I came in this site about 9 months ago seeking information about a Blepharoplasy. My eyelids feel heavy and I am am starting to get irritated more and more as I attempt to "do my eyes up" with shadows, liner, and mascara. I'm not a heavy make-up user, but I can't enjoy putting it on. I have to go extra light on the upper lid liner because it literally transfers to the skin on my eyelid from my excess skin resting on the eyelash line when my eyes are open.
So, I think I found the right doctor to at least have a consult with, but I am scared that my eyes will look hollowed out from the amount of eyelid fat I've seen them take out of patients. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to me. Also, I worry about the scar line that will be left. Will it always be visible to some extent, so that I HAVE to wear eyeshadow. Like I said, I'm pretty natural but do enjoy make-up for certain ocassions.
Do you have any advice from your experience and are you happy thus far with your Blepharoplasy results and healing?
Thank you for your time. You look great btw, especially for only 9 days in healing!

I'm happy so far with my eye surgery. I'd recommend that you ask your doctor to be more conservative with the lid reduction, you can always take more off later if you need. My scars are healing well. I've been putting scar cream on them and silicon gel tape at night. Ask your doctor LOTS of questions, that's one thing I would have done more of.

April 12, 2017
Thank you for replying. That's true. It's better to be in the conservative side than take off too much and regret the decision for the rest of your life. Thanks for some of the healing tips as well. Is there a particular brand of scar cream that you recommend and brand of silicon gel tape. I want to do this thing right. After all, it's a one time deal and worth all of the extra epresearch and attention to detail. I know it's especially important in the early days and weeks to really have a good regimen down because healing happens the most right after an injury, or in this case, surgery. Do you feel you didn't ask enough questions and if so, which questions do you wish you had asked the doctor now? Sorry to bombard you with more questions, but I have definitely decided I would like to get this procedure done within the next year and like I said in my first comment, my main concerns are too much fat removal (hollowed eye look), scarring, and possibly too much skin cut. I've seen some people on here with eyes they can barely shut. That's awful!

April 12, 2017
I actually noticed that too and I haven't had the procedure done yet...the incisions are further out than other cases I have seen. I wondered if that was a good or bad thing?! To me, I thought it may also tighten up the skin near the crow's feet area. Having excess eyelid skin has caused the outer side of my eyes to be affected as well with bigger creases in that area, instead of being relatively flat. I cannot draw an eyeliner line straight out or do the "cat eye" look because of that area having those small "rolls" of skin. That's not my priority by any means, but it gives a more tired appearance I believe.

You look so pretty! You have such kind and lovely eyes and a warm countenance! That's something money can't buy ❤ As I was reading the features you were dissatisfied with, I was checking the same things off that I've always disliked about my own face. I'm scheduled for a lip lift consultation in about a week as my upper lip has always bothered me. Has your smile changed and do you have more tooth show when you do smile? Congratulations on such nice results and may you continue to heal well and quickly.
April 13, 2017
Thank you for the nice comments!! I have slight tooth show but I'm happy with it, it was only 5mm removed for my lip lift but I definitely notice it. I wouldn't have wanted any more removed. I find drinking and eating with a fork or spoon a little difficult, my muscles and tissues still need to relax. It's still feeling tight and numb where my incision is. So smiling is still a little stiff feeling.
