Update: Two Years Later

WORTH IT$3,000
So it’s been about two years and two months since my surgery. How am I feeling? Great. Would I do it again (if I could)? Heck, yeah! I’m still kicking myself for not doing this sooner. If you’re Asian, I highly recommend it, debate no more: find yourself a good doctor close by and get this done. It’s the most subtle change yet it’s made a huge difference — when I first went back to work people kept commenting that I looked like I’d lost 10lbs!
No, it’s not entirely symmetrical but only because I wasn’t entirely symmetrical to begin with. Yes, it will make you seem like you’ve lost weight so take that into consideration if you already have a slim face. I would also highly recommend going with a facial plastic surgeon and not a general/body PS only because the facial PS only specializes in the face. I felt better knowing that about my own PS.
I’ve posted a compilation of shots to show what the angles look like. The best $3300 I’ve ever spent.

Great office, great doctor. Simplifies things for you. If only he'd let me get more procedures done! :) A good doctor will tell you no :)

I definitely see the difference! Great results! Did you get your lips done as well-- you have beautiful full lips. I'm meeting with docs now and will be getting the permalips procedure done to achieve fuller lips. Thanks for sharing your journey :)
Aw thanks! I haven’t had my lips done in four years so Thank you! Gluck with your procedure and keep me posted!

Thank you! Get it done you won’t regret it!
Thank you! I highly recommend it!
Wow you look stunning
WoW! now I'm wondering if this is what Angelina Jolie may have gotten Heh heh very stunning results!
Thank you! I think getting older also contributed to facial fat loss and having levels high cheekbones also a factor
When did you see kind of your final results?
About two months post. You won't realize full solid results until at least a year ltwr

Day 13 Buccal Fat Removal

So basically two weeks post-surgery. Infection is almost cleared up, the hole on the right is about 95% healed and my face feels normal. I have started fully yawning again (as in full open wide mouth movement), started chewing full out now and taking in the comments from
People
Who saw me 2-3 weeks ago saying "your face looks slimmer" :) yay. This was the best 3k I've spent.

Your cheekbones look gorgeous! I am so happy the infection is clearing up and you are feeling more comfortable. Congratulations! I will be happy if my results are even a fraction as nice as yours. :)
Thank you! Can't wait to see your finals!
you look great!! so it's only been two weeks and people already comment on your face looking slimmer? that is amazing! i'm excited for my consultation I have for this same procedure in three weeks :)
Yeah I'm so surprised the results showed up so quickly. Good luck and keep me posted, I am in full support of buccal fat removal!
I keep coming back to this post to give myself hope. :) This recovery hasn't been easy! Just another 2 weeks and maybe I'll look more like you. :)
Oh I have no doubt! Remember....ice ice baby!!
Wow amazing I really want this to be done. Is 10 days post op enough? Thanks so much!
I didn't think it would be but everyone heals differently. I was VERY diligent about icing religiously.
Thank you! Now you're giving me more confidence to do this. So you sleep elevated and ice packs daily? Amazing!
Your cheekbones are gorgeous!
The first night sleep as upright as you can and ice as much as you can. Do not chew, talk, open mouth if you can help it!
Thank you ❤️
Elevated sleep and religiously icing for the first two days is crucial!
Thank you!
so by now you see results you thin that by a month you look normal
Basically yes, by a month I look normal. 3 weeks and I already look normal.

Crazy! That is a huge difference!
How are you feeling now?
Great! On Day 9, Still on antibiotics, minor puffiness which I'm assuming will go down over time (as in over the course of a few months). Haven't started going back to the gym yet but went for a long walk yesterday.
So no pain? Did they start you on oral antibiotics with surgery as well? Or did they only start the Abx when you got the infection? I'm so happy you're feel great! I hope the puffiness recedes quickly! :)
It was my recommendation to prescribe antibiotics prior to surgery but then I didn't bother filling the prescription as I thought everything was going well.
Pain is about 1/10 now :)
I hope your pain continues to reduce! Thank you for sharing your experience. Just in case, I will start oral antibiotics with my surgery tomorrow. Many thanks again!
GOODLuCK tomorrow and keep me posted!
Posted just for you. ;) I feel like hell warmed over. Recovery is much harder than anticipated so far!
