22 Year Old Women, Severe Breast Asymmetry/ Tubular Breast. Vancouver, BC

I had been looking into this for a long time, I was 2-3 cup sizes different and clothes and bras never fit correctly. I went from an A and C/D to an even DD, and I am so, so pleased with the results. The surgery was done in one step (about 3 hours I believe), with radial scoring to the left side, then implant insertion, and lift then implant insertion to the right. The surgery typically is done in two steps because results can be unpredictable with tubular/asymmetrical breasts, but I was eager to at least try to the surgery in one and fix imperfections later. We both found the results were satisfactory to forgo the next surgery for now. There are small imperfections, for example on the left (tubular) side there is still a band of tight tissue that is still slowly releasing (I'm still within a year), which creates a bit of a ledge. Also, for a month or two after the surgery I wore a compression band to speed up this process and lower the implant into a more natural shape. I wore the band while I slept and most of the day, which was a little uncomfortable, however it did effectively move the implant. The right side has a lollipop shaped scar, which is not ideal but is already fading. Dr. Seal also reduced and matched my nipple size, which was great. I found my recovery speedy, I was moving around like normal within a week, however it did take almost 2 months before I was back at the gym weightlifting again. I did utilize my painkillers for about two weeks, and found ice very effective in combating pain. There was bruising and soreness initially, and overall discomfort ended within the first two months. I taped my incision areas, by recommendation of Dr Seal, for 3 months to reduce scarring.

Thanks for sharing your story. If and when you feel comfortable it would be so helpful to see a photo, especially a before and after comparison. The photo uploader is really easy to use, but let me know if I can help?
