Grade 3, physical motivation so that I felt comfortable with them. I am 26 so I have had about 10 years to get use to them the way they were and grow to like them and be comfortable but I have wanted this procedure for a long time. The only deterent was a strong possibility of not being able to breast feed after surgery.

Day 2 post op

Felt concerned about different healing rate. Different healing size. Took off bloody gauze and waterproof tape.

I have the same concern. Did they end up healing ok? Like similar in look/size? I’m one week post-op now and one seems to look way bigger than the other

Mine went down again they don’t look like the before or after picture they are just flat now I wouldn’t worry about size difference as they change so much during healing

Feel much better as the nipples look more healed and are evening out in size. Should hopefully be even more even when healed for longer

You look wonderful! I am so happy for you. This is something I REALLY want to do. I also have grade-3. I have had one consult and the surgeon was very discouraging about kind of a wasted thing to do. May I ask which procedure you had done? The one where they go in and either cut or un-tether the the ducts, or one involving a mesh or tissue implant. The implant one is the one I do NOT want- and from what I have read this can be done in an office. You look terrific!

My reserve was the breast feeding. I feel like with the cutting, stitching and separating of the ducts that I may not be able to but I am hoping for the best. Unfortunately you dont know until you give birth and attempt to (but all i have read about seperating grade three the chances are not great) I have seen different techniques where there is a higher chance but seperating the ducts without being able to see by feel, is challenging. He took out four mini pieces of diamond skin around the nipple to add in the incision as well for a bit more protrusion. As you can see after 3 days of healing the little pieces of skin must have been very small as I do not see scars. Thank you, I like them so far and hope over the healing process that they even out a bit more.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. You clearly had a terrific surgeon, you would never even know that you had anything "done". You seem to be healing up beautifully and very quickly, which I am sure is quite reassuring for you that you did the right thing. Your success with this has convinced me even more that this can be done with terrific results. i appreciate your information on what the procedure was- I do NOT want mesh inserted or anything like that- just cut the darn ducts! :) I will look forward to watching your progress- you have given me great hope. My best to you! -xo
