This review should have been writen 3 years ago, when i had the surgery. I went see Dr Noorman Van Der Dussen in london fo surgery in belgium.. I wanted a more masculine face, so i asked him to build up my brow bone, lower my eyebrows and give me masuliene cheek bones/orbital rims. I requested he use hydroxyapatitie granules. The surgeon is a polite friendly man, but the surgery was a bif waste of money. The left cheek disintergrated, the right side built up, towards the temples, over time the forehead granules completely disintergrated. The eyebrows remained in the same position. At my 3 month follow up he said he could correct these but suggested i get orthognathic surgery first to correct my bite. And than he would do fat grafting in supraorbital region and he would put medpore cheek implants. He than said all i would have to pay is the hospital fees. To be honest once a surgeon messes up your face there is no way in hell you would want to go through the hell.off another surgery and recovery. The swelling on my facd lasted almost 4 months dispite intensive icing in the first week. I had black eyes for 6 weeks, and blood shocked eyes. In the first seek for 2 days i couldnt even open my eyes, i had nasolabial folds for 6 months. I underwent the orthognathic surgery in a rush to compensate for fixing the rest if my face. In end time took over and i took the grown up decission to wait, save money, and go to respected surgeons. i have just had surgery in the states with a world renowned surgeon- i am only day 4 now so will post update at a later stage regarding the revision surgeon.
