How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

2.5 week post-op
I've been feeling pretty much 100% for the past week. There are certain movements (like cleaning counter tops, reaching for high things, and sudden, large movements) that jolt my chest muscles and remind me that I'm still recovering.
My breasts look much better than they did when I put up my first pictures and I haven't missed my implants at all! I'm so relieved that I am happy with my results. I was so worried at before my procedure and right after.
My nipples have been looking a little sunken in and I'm wondering if they will puff up in time? Is that what women refer to when they say "fluffing?" My left nipple became inverted after my second surgery and I'm worried that will happen again. I'm really hoping my nipples will fix themselves soon.
I had my stitches removed last week and the doctor said that everything was looking good. I can feel scar tissue on the sides of my breasts and in the center of my chest where the implants used to be. It is very hard, but the doctor said that it will dissolve into my body over time.
I can also feel some lumps in my breasts that I think is scar tissue. Is this normal?
Overall, I'm very happy I did this procedure and would encourage any woman thinking about doing it to just go for it. You'll be grateful you did!

Finally took a full shower
I'm 5 days post-op now and won't be getting my stitches removed until next Wednesday, which means I'll have them in for 12 days, which seems like a long time. However, the doctor said I could get them wet now but would have to use antisepsis soap. It felt so good to finally take a full shower!
I was also feeling nausea and tightness of breath for the past few days, which may be attributable to the heavy antibiotics. I haven't taken any other meds since the second day after surgery. The doctor said I could stop taking antibiotics, but I'm not sure how I feel about stopping in the middle of a cycle even though I'm not fighting off an infection or anything.
I've posted a picture that I took yesterday. I was feeling a little down about how they looked but realized that this was a decision that I made for a reason. I did not make the decision to remove my implants lightly and I know that I did the right thing for my body and overall health. I have to remember to be patient and allow my body time to heal. No one is perfect and I'm just so grateful that I can move forward knowing that I no longer have to worry about foreign objects sitting inside my body. Our bodies are beautiful and unique and we must love ourselves inside and out. Thank you for all the supportive messages - they've meant the world!

Massages?
Hi Ladies,
I've read a few posts by women who said they were doing post-explant massages? I was never told anything about this and was wondering when I should start doing it? Is there a certain technique I should use?
Thank you!
