I Had a Great Experience with Dr. Saldana
WORTH IT$5,245
I’m two weeks after vaginoplasty and perineoplasty surgery performed by Dr. Saldana. He did a great job and I like him a lot. He is gynecologist and he found that I got bladder prolapse I had no idea I had it and told me that vaginoplasty will fix this problem. He told us ( I took my husband with me ) in details what is going to happen during this kind of surgery and answered all our questions . Only one thing I forgot to mention to him was my perineal scar and that I would love it to be reduced /removed.I found only a couple of reviews of this doctor. I and my husband had a virtual consultation with him and the doctor answered all our questions and we both felt confident that Dr. Saldana will do a great job. The surgery was at VIDA center and I had to spend night at the post op room, which was super clean and comfortable . All nurses and stuff spoke English and they took a good care of me.
Only one thing which upsets me is a scar. I tore my perineum during giving birth to my first child and it was stitched and I had a scar, with my second child the scar opened up half through. Dr.Saldana didn’t see my scar during check up in person ( I was covered with medical gown ) and I got bigger scar after recent perineoplasty ( the opening of vagina was tightened and the scar was never addressed). After the surgery I looked down there and I got very upset. Dr. Saldana never asked me if I wanted the scar to be removed .
Im two weeks after the surgery and I still feel minor pain and discomfort in my perineum and I see stitches, which are supposed to be dissolve in a couple of weeks. My husband told me that he doesn’t care about my scar down there but I would like it to get removed .
The bottom line -I would recommend Dr. Saldana and VIDA center for vaginoplasty /perineoplasty.
The hotel was clean and good , phlebotomist was great taking my blood from my vein , all nurses got to my skinny invisible veins without poking me many times for IV.
There is no parking around VIDA center ( if you drive a car like us from SoCal ) so shuttle service is very handy for extra price. The shuttle picks ppl in San Diego and brings them to the center for medical tests and personal consultation with doctors and takes clients to the hotel. On a day of surgery shuttle picked me up at 6:30 am and by 8 am anesthesiologist gave me a “ hot tequila “ shot in my IV and I fell asleep immediately. I felt good after 2 hour surgery, no pain .
