After Years of Being Unsatisfied, I’ve Been Rejuvenated!

37yo…2 Kids…Finally I had the courage to move forward and getting my normal body back!
I have been dealing with a loose vagina for many years. After I gave birth to my 2nd baby, I felt like my vagina was destroyed. I felt so loose and I been dealing with it for years. I was always scared to get the surgery because it seemed very expensive and I was so embarrassed to even say it. I got into an argument with my partner & he called me loose, it hurt so bad because I knew something changed after birth, but to have my partner throw it in my face, really took a jab at my self esteem. I knew I had to start looking up doctors. I just couldn’t continue being so unhappy for years. trying to squeeze my vagina during sex to feel some pleasure, when I’m squeezing I would sometimes pee a little on myself. I initially was going to book out the country but decided it would be too much hassle with such a delicate area. I searched for years and I came across Dr. Patel on RealSelf. Surgery day is here! I was a nervous wreck when I arrived for my surgery. The nurse assisted me with taking my pills and she made me feel at ease! I was up during the procedure, which lasted about an hour and a half. I felt the initial needle pinch and after that I literally didn’t feel anything. I spoke with Dr.Patel during the procedure and boom I was done! I’m telling you the ladies that work here are so kind and sweet. After the procedure the nurse went over all the post op instructions again and gave me a direct phone number to Dr.Patel in case I had an emergency I would be able to reach her at any time.
Once I got home there was some blood, which the office advised is normal. I continued to use ice pack and my pain meds. After a couple of hours I felt a lot of pressure in my private area (I guess the pain killers during surgery worn off) I called the office and advised me what to do. The first couple of days make sure to take your pain meds on time! Trust me.
I was on bed rest most of the time for the first week. I got up only to use the rest room and shower.

I forgot to mention I did vaginoplasty and perinoplasty. During my last childbirth I had an episiotomy and wasn’t seen up properly. I live about 1hr away driving. My partner drove me for surgery and my first follow up. After that I was able to drive.

I purchased a hemorrhoid pillow for my car ride home after surgery.



I am currently 4 weeks post op. I saw Dr. Patel twice so far. The first follow up was 2 days post, just to make sure everything looks good. The second follow up was a 2 week post. I asked Dr.Patel to check the stitches inside me to make sure I didn’t pop anything and I was able to feel the one finger she used to check me!! I was 3-4 fingers before my surgery (TMI). Recovery is smooth so far.

The office filled out some paper work for my job so I can get short term disability pay. The girls at the front desk are always so helpful and kind. My request and paperwork was filled out right away. I also called other times with questions and I was always helped right away and the front desk girls ensured me to call anytime.
