Great and Positive Experience
I had Vagioplasty and Labiaplasty on July 15, 2021. Prior to my surgery Dr. Reed met with my husband and I to discuss the procedure along with expectations. Dr. Reed does a great job of bringing a warm and friendly energy into the room and he was always engaging , attentive, and seemed genuinely excited to be taking care of me. The day of the surgery his entire staff made me feel very comfortable. The surgery itself was painless. Dr. Reed gave me his personal cell phone number just in case I had a question, needed help or had an emergency. The most uncomfortable part of the recovery was the constipation. Dr. Reed assured me that no one died from constipation. :)
At my 6 week follow up appointment I was cleared for take off... I was really excited and nervous to try out the new vagina. We attempted sex, but it was too painful and I didn't want to risk any possible tear, so we waited a few more weeks to try again. Uber lube is a necessity, and lots of it. It did take a few tries for full insertion. Now that I'm almost 11 months post surgery I'm happy to report that my husband and I are extremely happy with the outcome.
Dr. Reed has also helped me get my hormones under control. I'm 53, going through menopause, and was having issues with my previous HRT. We got my dosage of transdermal estradiol dialed in as well as the micronized progestorone. The HRT combined with the surgery has been a life saver.
I highly recommend Dr. Reed. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner.
