Terrible Outcome

Hello ladies and gents I am a very kind transparent person and I stand by what is right. I tried to sort this out with the office by asking for my full or partial refund in exchange for not speaking about my botched job but they refused to help me with that. The only fair thing for me to do is to speak about my experience and let you decide if you want to have cosmetic surgery here. Dr Sheinberg's bedside manner was very pleasant , he spoke very confident about the procedure and was very promising with the outcome. Unfortunately he did not deliver and the outcome/results did not line up with his words. I had a vaginoplasty with enterocele done with him in November of 2022. He stated I needed to have the enterocele repaired and I trusted him so I went along and had the surgery. I have had complications after the surgery I know have pain with intercourse it feels like my partner is hitting something and excruciating pain while interring from the opening. Not only that I paid for vaginal tightening to feel better with my intimate life after vaginal deliveries, and that failed there is still vaginal laxity it feels like I did not have a repair done. I am a out of state patient so I had to pay for everything the hotel, my flight, the rent a car plus my surgery. When I flew in to have my surgery he switched things up on me he changed the plan of my procedure and said things that were not brought up in my consultation when I flew out there initially. He mentioned that there may be a need for a second procedure/adjustment. That should have been my red flag. Being kind and wanting to see a smile on your patients face is one thing then having them pay for a surgery gone wrong and they are now scarred for life. I can't say he wants the best for his patients or just wants to collect payment. I understand this is a business but working in the healthcare industry you need to have some kind of compassion and empathy especially with the intimate area of a women. I was fooled by the 5 star reviews on real self. If I can erase time I would have selected another surgeon for my procedure. I will not refer any of my family considering this procedure I only have negative things to say about the outcome and only complications to speak of.

At the Center for Cosmetic & Reconstructive Gynecology we take every review (positive and negative) seriously as patient satisfaction and more importantly patient safety is our number one priority. Also, OUR MEDICAL PRACTICE DOES NOT ALLOW ANY PATIENT TO MAKE ANY ATTEMPT TO EXPORT MONEY FROM OUR PRACTICE IN LIEU OF POSTING A NEGATIVE REVIEW, AS THIS IS CONSIDERED A QUID PRO QUO. We consider all our patients as VIPs and our primary concern is making them happy by doing everything possible to create the best results. We therefore offer to see them and help them any way we can, AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, despite LONG INTERVALS since their surgery. We also offer to confer with their local physician if they prefer. All patients are requested to come back within six weeks for a postsurgical follow up. The lack of any patient adhering to these standards can severely inhibit the recovery process. As previously stated, after speaking with a potentially dissatisfied patient, I am always willing to see them again AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, to repair any procedure exclusively associated with my original surgery. Please allow me to conclude and summarize that our medical practice will never be subject to any extortive measures of any kind.
