Face Ruined
Dr Oh convinced me to do cheekbone (zygoma reduction) and V-Line with genioplasty. I’m in my 40s and asked multiple times about sagging. Dr. Oh said, there will be no sagging, they smile to your face and just lie. Of course there will be sagging. Outcome of procedure performed by Dr. Oh, confirmed by CT scans and X-Rays.
1. Cheekbones – even though somewhat even, caused the cheeks to fall to around the nose area instant aging by about 20 years, people were placing me at my 60, and I have a really nice skin. Devastating.
2. V-Line – too much was taken from right side at the different angle than the left side. Left side cannot be fix, the nerve it too close. Uneven cuts at different angles, making the face asymmetrical because of bones.
3. Genioplasty – about 5mm to the side off center post surgery with the tissue moved to the incorrect location. Because the right side was shaved too much at the angle it was done that created a bone deficiency completely ruining any kind of jaw line on the right side. Can not be fixed, there is no more bone graft to harvest.
4. My bottom lip is not closing and deficient more on one side causing mouth to be sagging on one side. Bottom lip incompetence is a known issue post genioplasty poorly performed. Apparently Dr. Oh is known in Korea to cause this issue. Many people said the same thing. It’s incredibly hard to fix and unlikely to fix completely. All plastic surgeons in USA turned me back and sent me to reconstructive surgery – if you were in horrific accident and they are not there to make it pretty, just functional. Absolutely devastating.
When contacted the clinic, they sent me probably the other side X-Ray and said there is no gap. (it can be palpated and visible and confirmed by CT Scans – definitely bone gap.)
Also confirmed by CT Scans – V-line is completely uneven on both sides.
When I had my final appointment with Dr. Oh and I could see the cheeks around my mouth nose area, Dr Oh smiled at me and said, its just swelling. I also asked about uneven lower face – all just uneven swelling according to him. Its unpleasant when people just lie to your face.
